While I agree with you, that not being able to respawn is something HARDCORE Socom fans will be looking forward to, I am not a Hardcore Socom fan. I enjoy the games greatly but have never really enjoyed having to wait five mins to start playing again. If that's your cup of tea than more power to you, but with only those types of game modes Socom 4 is never going to reach an audience outside of the Hardcore Socom fans. If they had a mode where respawns were allowed they would have a game l...
Uh Daggerfall is the Elder Scrolls.
I agree. Personally I Didn't really like this game. It got really repetitive really fast.
This is turning into a mind fuck of massive proportions
Why would Kessler (cole) create the beast that kills his wife and kid, than come back in time, recreate the beast, kill his future wife and than train cole to fight the beast.? Wouldn't it be easier to just kill the guy (david) before he became the beast?
I agree with you. I like the entire concept of Alpha protocol. I know the shooting is roll of the die but the cross hairs in the game were freaking humongous. If they shrunk it down a bit, or made it more like ME it would have been a stellar game. As for the dialog, your absolutely right. I especially like Alpha protocol because the dialog was timed. You couldn't stand there forever waiting to make a choice. And the decisions you made really influenced the game.
I really enjoyed Alpha protocol. My only problem with it was how inaccurate the guns were. If they made them more accurate the game would have scored much much higher.
PARASITE EVE
I like the points you make in this blog. I feel that some of what you say should be applied to everyone anytime. People really should learn to use facts and logic when arguing instead of wild emotions. I also agree with you that saying things like "go die" or "STFU" are just childish by nature and should never be included in an argument or debate.
What I don't understand, and perhaps you can explain this to me (and I'm not trying to start an argum...
To each his own. As you said, I like his reviewing style as well.
DA:O was an RPG at heart with action elements second.
DA2 is an Action game at heart with RPG elements second.
It's not my type of game, but than you're not the same as me. That's why they make different types of games. So again to each his own.
@Pandamobile
Are you really that much of a stickler? I HAVE to say BF2MC? Seriously? Does it really matter. Isn't BF2MC still BF2 even though it has a different name. I know it's a totally different game but it still has BATTLEFIELD 2 in the title does it not.
Learn to not be a stickler
I really wish you PC gamers would learn to read. I very clearly say ON THE CONSOLE or ON THE XBOX 360. Do I really need to clarify and say Battlefield 2 modern combat, when I say ON THE CONSOLE or ON THE XBOX360. I mean seriously. ON THE CONSOLE or ON THE XBOX 360 means NOT ON THE PC. I know they were different games, and I was not talking about Battlefield 2 ON THE PC. I was talking about Battlefield 2 ON THE XBOX 360.
I agree. The reason I'm not buying into the hype is because of of Battlefield 2 on the console. If anyone remembers BF2 on the xbox 360 it was TERRIBLE. Hardly playable. I think most people are assuming this is Battlefield bad company 3. Not battlefield 3. I'm hopping it doesn't follow the path of BF2.
I do. As long as the review is within a 6-8 radius. I hardly believe user reviews over an 8 because most of the time it's just a fan-boy who's all hyped for the game and just got off the adrenaline rush of beating it for the first time.

By the way he wrote I would almost say he's left handed. A lot of people who are left handed write backwards when using something like a sharpie (something that smears) to keep their hand from dragging over the ink. The backwards writing would result in the left slant you noticed
Is anyone else sick of all the Cliffy B news recently? So he says some stuff about the PS3, big deal. And did anyone else notice it pretty much all comes from the same site.
@TEETHING
I had DA:O set to the hardest difficulty available and still found it easy. So if DA2 is going to be even easier than setting it to hard isn't going to solve the problem.
Boo hoo. so the game was a little hard. Seriously? I found the game incredibly easy once you learned to set tactics. But getting rid of the squad fighting and making it a hack and slash isn't making the game easier. It's DESTROYING THE GAME.
@soundslike
If it had respawm modes I would be playing it probably obsessively. The game in it's current state is not for me. What you seem to not be understanding is the demographic. Go look at Black Ops for an instant. See how many people are playing TDM compaired to S&D. It's more than triple the number. Why because more people like being able to respawn. And like just straight TDM than other types of game modes.
Now like you said, Gears of Wa...
