I don’t agree at all, it looked disappointing visually the first time it was showed (to me) but this is a big improvement. It looks stunning now. That big tree reminds of Valinor from Tolkein’s Silmarilion.

I agree that 7 is better but as for everything else .. man i don't know how you got all that lol, the game isn't linear and not easy.. play it on hardcore and explore everything.
Yes it is a better game but RE8 is still very good. It's so replayable and gorgeous i've grown to love it a lot. There's also much more content in RE8 it's longer and we still didn't even get the DLC ! Also the bosses and enemies are on another level compared to RE7 (even though RE7 had some fantastic boss fights).
RE7 is legendary by now. Well deserved.

IMO yes and no. But more on the no side.. it missed something atmosphere and exploration. And i also didn't think the soundtrack was memorable in Dread.
Man i would be happy if we got just a bit more content and new stuff and at least the whole clock tower part of the original game... and maybe more of the city like it was in the original. More Nemesis stuff as well. I would cry tears of joy for all this.

@oldenjon Oh yeah it absolutely doesn’t have the depth and that old tough classic metroidvania feel like Hollow Knight, Symphony and Super Metroid. I noticed that just by watching the streams of other people playing, it was very apparent. It’s hard to beat the likes of those games especially a juggernaut like Hollow Knight. But Dread is still an awesome game i’m playing it right now and yeah it’s a shame it isn’t more like Hollow Knight but it’s still great.
Play Hollow Knight , Castelvania Symphony , Super Metroid and the Ori games. 😬
Yeah but there's also Returnal, Metroid Dread, Village maybe even Rift Apart. Those were video gamey as hell too.. i love it. More games like that please.
