I kind of agree, but at the same time...when the ps3 and xbox 360 were released, there wasn't such a thing as a $600 gpu like the gtx 1080. I think that Sony is hurting the indie games industry by releasing indie games every month. I will no longer buy indie games now, because I am afraid sony will give them away at some point. Plus when you could buy AAA games last week for under $10...these indie games seem to lose their perceived value fast!
I like how all you guys make up your own definitions of what "next gen" means to you. It literally means next generation, which is what they release after the previous generation. It doesn't need to meet your arbitrary goal posts, or do something the other console doesn't.
Unfortunately, this tv doesn't have true HDR (no wide color gamut, doesn't have a very high peak brightness). KS8000 series is better, and should be the minimum baseline for true 4k/hdr.
I was just playing this game for the first time on PS4Pro and noticed the framerate issues and softness of the image as well. I didn't get to play it prepatch but it doesn't look like the digital foundry videos that I watched in regards to the crispiness of the textures and overall picture.
You can't back up games to an external drive with PS4, unless they changed things recently. Nevermind, I guess you can do a full backup according to this article?
