I think the only reason they are doing this is to score brownie points and free media coverage from the SJW gaming sites like Polygon and Kotaku. A little bit of virtue signalling gets the gaming "journalists" off their back so they can focus on making the game without having to constantly appease the vocal minority.

It is a crappy unfinished game, but since xbox fanboys love crappy unfinished games, you guys lapped it up because you had nothing else to play. That PUBG ship has sailed...sorry! I guess PS4 owners tastes are just more refined! ;)

@343_Guilty_Spark I have my PC hooked up to my 4k HDR tv. You don't need a gaming monitor! But yeah, HDR on PC sucks still. Between Windows 10, Geforce, Youtube, Amazon, Chrome etc....it is a clusterfuck. The only time HDR has worked properly for me is when I use it in my PS4 or through the Youtube streaming app on my tv.

I fully agree, and once again it is Microsoft's fault for making people ok with paying for online. Sony thought hey, Microsoft is getting away with it...why can't we? Then Nintendo said, hey don't leave me out of the easy money!
I don't understand why Xbox One owners aren't pissed off that microsoft is offering xbox live services for free to everyone except Xbox One owners! What are you paying for now, just the "free" games...since friends lists/achievements/etc are free to everyone? It sounds like you guys are subsidizing the service for Switch/Android/IOS owners!
I'm sure you enjoyed it when MS bought exclusivity for PUBG, Cuphead, Ori, Ark, Super Lucky's Tale and more...right? Hell...Microsoft just recently said forget buying game exclusivity...let's just buy developer exclusivity instead!
Also, Sony isn't innocent either. Didn't they buy exclusivity for GTA3 on the PS2?
@crazyCoconuts Because Sony doesn't need the exciting marketing right now. They let their products and services speak for themselves. There is a reason they are the market leader! All of Microsoft's current marketing reeks of desperation to me. Sony is just chillin in the shadows, planning their next moves.
