Lawson that sounds like a brilliant strategy. Allow Sony to continue outselling you at such a high ratio so that eventually you lose all 3rd party support.
Omegaheat actually the Xbone was released in China on September 29, a Tuesday, with the week ending October 4. These sales numbers from VGCharts would therefore include those from China's launch and it does appear to be assuming all 100,000 allocated units for that launch were sold to consumers. I haven't seen anything concrete about the sold through numbers for the China launch so this number is doubtful.
To Wannabe_Gamer what I meant was that if it weren't for those two games I'd vote for Watch Dogs. There's still a chance they'll be delayed to 2015.
Revolver are you saying that in GTAV you can't easily overpower the police? I haven't played the game yet (finally will on the PS4 next month) but in Watch Dogs and Sleeping Dogs overpowering the police is extremely easy so I can't imagine it being hard to do in GTAV.
Either way it doesn't matter, a sane person would know that the stuff you can do in these games shouldn't be done in real life.
It's perfectly normal for people to ha...
Great game but I don't know about GOTY. I think thus far Watch Dogs is slightly better. Either way I honestly think GOTY will be between Dragon Age: Inquisition or Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, both coming out next month.
NPD: PS4 was the top selling console, almost trippling its August's sales.
So tripple August numbers would put it at around 550k, Pachter was only off by 300k...
Congratulations to Sony for the 9th straight month.
I don't have much experience with RPGs so 13-15 hours will probably take me at least 20 hours. Either way the game looks fun, can't wait to play it.
If you can beat it in two days and you don't want to play it again just trade it in. I think Gamestop gives you like $40 if you bring it in within two weeks of its launch.
If Google really wants to get into the console gaming market they should either partner up with Sony or with Microsoft.
Bookmarking this to laugh at Pachter when the NPD results come in.
This is a niche game with an even smaller demographic than racing games. The first Bayonetta only managed to sell a little over a million copies on the PS3 and it didn't even manage to reach a million on the 360, and these two systems have huge install bases.
With the Wii U's much smaller install base I'd be surprised if this one reaches half a million. Sorry folks this game ain't saving the Wii U either.
Looks like they're not gimping the PC version, that bodes well for the PS4 version.
I'm glad I decided to read the comments first.
Some of the games under the Other Releases list deserve descriptions.
I can see the differences easily:
1: Clothing and hands are more detailed on the PS4 version. You can barely see the fingernail on the Xbone version.
2: There's some motion blur going on in the PS4 version making the top of her hood and her cape seem less detailed but that's just motion blur. You can see her clothing looks more detailed on the PS4 at her midsection.
3: The branches and the leaves from the tree at the top right have mo...
Yes please to an ND Sci-fi game. Would love to see it resemble the Mass Effect series with tons of interesting aliens and artificial intelligence and futuristic technology.
ME2 is generally considered the best in the series. It had decent rpg and 3rd person shooting. I rank them as follows, from best to less good:
1. ME2
2. ME3
3. ME1
I don't see why you think ME3 was a mediocre TPS, I thought its TPS was clearly the best in the series. If its story didn't feel so rushed I would put ME3 ahead of ME2.
I haven't played the ME3 dlc so maybe with that it'll end up better than ME2, I...
That's not the point. Gamers are pissed because Ubisoft admitted parity. If every developer were to adopt the parity policy there's be no reason to make superior hardware, and thus it would slow down the progress of gaming. Everyone should be against parity.
Shadow of Mordor is lots of fun, the combat is so good and I enjoyed the campaign a lot though I wish it were longer. Lots of potential for the sequel.
