I think that the level of support beyond just ad spend will help drive sales more than anything...the short stories, soundtrack releases, and fan trailers have really fleshed out the LA Noire world...which will make a difference for full immersion into the story. it’s so easy to pirate DS games, that there's no incentive to buy when can just torrent it. Nintendo has GOT to find a way to make it harder to hack DS games if they want to make money. Why buy it when you can get it for free. However, it's gonna bite us in the a** when developers stop making m-rated content for the DS bc games like CW failed to sell well. Regarding the “low sales”, I heard some hardcore gamers say they were waiting for the DSi to be released before they could buy GTA: CW. But then again it’s so easy to pirate DS games, that they may never buy it when they can just torrent it. Nintendo has GOT to find a way to make it harder to hack DS games if they want to make money.
