I can build a GREAT gaming PC right now using slightly more than 500 bucks:
Motherboard that supports Virtu: $60
500 GB HDD: $60
500W PSU: ~$35
CPU: Intel Core i5-4430, almost equal to the PS4 CPU, $189
GPU: HD7790 2GB RAM: $169
RAM: Transcend JetRam 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3: $59

TOTAL: $580 for a gaming machine with
1) 10 GB RAM total
2) CPU that is better than Xbone & PS4 CPU
3) Combined GPU (Intel HD4600...

The Xbone showing time was a great idea though. I wish PS4, that I will buy day 1, would do that. :)

After Sony's announcement? I highly doubt that.

Whatever it will be, make sure you develop it for PS4 too, dudes... you'll need this :)

If so, then she could buy OUYA in the 2nd work hour.
Now piss off.

By the way, they already used FUD to discredit Linux and free software.

Wow I didn't know Andrew House's homeland is Great Britain. I guess he was involved in making the 349 price and not 399.

He already clarified than statement.
He meant online play ONLY.
Single-player games from ALL publishers are offline.

He also added that this works EXACTLY as it was on PS3.
The only thing that changed is that now you need PS+ membership to play online.

NOW PS4 is day 1 for me. All I needed was the clarification on those questions. It is really, really good. No other console can provide things PS4 can. And I don't want to support always-online on PC, so I will use PS4 for playing every game that doesn't come to Linux.

That's right, it's Jack Tretton who chose wrong words again.

All PS4 singleplayer games are free from any online-DRM.
Multiplayer is up to publishers. Exactly like it was on PS3.

There's comment on Polygon:

">> I can tell you that EA did not *aggressively* lobby for the
>> platform holders to put some gating function in there to allow
>> or disallow used games.

Key word."

Xbone gave us some memes during the last 3 weeks, we realized how fast can our wishes become true, how fast can we convince one company not to hurt its customers; thank you Xbone, for the May-June 2013 change of the console world. Now go home.

Please, let it be 1080p and 60 frames per second!
I remember that smooth gameplay on PS2, I will never forget it.

Single player games should be like movies, music or books - they don't need online connection.

Those Xbone exclusive are made specifically to seduce you. The faster we abandon X1, the faster it dies and there will be less good games on bad console.

This is EPIC, EPIC WIN!!!
Sony, thank you for listening to us, we will never forget this.

I really hope Sony will loudly announce:
NO. ONLINE. DRM.

If anything happens, PC is always the free alternative, but I really hope that the mainstream console won't get any of this restrictions and continues the PS3 way without security holes.

Even if PS Eye 2 is bundled, it is cheaper in production than Kinect. It has less sensors: 2 cams, 4 microphones. Maybe it's twice cheaper.

So, you can make all the 15 exclusives using Project Spark.
