I guess I used the wrong word. Republicans who live on the lower end of the financial spectrum might be more understandable to most people.
Conservativism isn't simply the rich. What you think is simply black and white over what you perceive to be conservative, but the values of conservativism is what I am trying to get across, not just stereotype that we perceive conservatives are always the rich. You might be just thinking about the 1% that might be in control of Congr...
Sad thing is, at least informed, educated individuals who actually know about video games won't be affected by Fox News. Everyone else however, well... You get where I am going here.
This is why Fox News are focused on those who are conservative (and most likely those who are strong on Christian/Catholic views on life/poor as hell). Fear works for them. That is why they aren't being called out for the ignorance this corporation is driveling out on the air waves.
@corepred4
Sadly enough, the majority of the people who exploit MW2 simply run a program to exploit the system to ruin everyone else's experience. They are by no means a conventional hacker, but a script kiddie. They don't know the intricacies of the stuff they use THANKS to the hackers, they just run the program and if it works, troll everyone they see with the over 9000 shit they pull off.
Not all hackers are bad. It is simply people who just use the code fo...
It wasn't ever on the NA PSN. This article on Siliconera was about the Japanese PSN and Live.
Personally, this is a good way to determine the demographic of who would actually spend the time to play the game across the two platforms they were advertised for.
It will be interesting to see what Atlus will do with the information they gained from the download limit and how going cross platform will affect sale, at least from a financial standpoint in Japan. ...
I think this might be applicable only to Canada. When I checked the Gamestop website for gamestop.com, they only give you a 25% trade in credit.
*reads the Canada disclaimer*
Yeah. Pretty much if you live in Canada, you benefit.
"Valid on PlayStation 3, PSP, Wii, Nintendo DS and Xbox 360 trade games only. Total trade-in credit cannot exceed the retail price of the item being purchased. Games must include boxes and instructions. No duplicate titl...
Personally, I loved Carnage A51's Showing Sum Luv (Halo: Reach Spartan Rube Goldberg) video he made on November 8th of last year. Personally how the music accented the Rube Goldberg machine, I had a feeling of respect towards the effort made to that design.
Either way, it is all good stuff. Kudos to the man.
Here is the link to the video from last year:
So you are insinuating that all the games have hackers, and you are leaving the PS3 just because ONE of your games have been hacked. It's like saying you are going to change colleges because you see people cheating in their classes.
Since you are persistant about the online aspects. Care to explain all the games that have seen this hack? Or is it simply just Modern Warfare 2 that was previously affected by hacks because of a save file exploit that has plagued MW2 before...
If you managed to get lucky and watch the bootlegged copy of Versus XIII, yes, the action is real-time. The added benefit is, at any time, you can take control of any of your current party during the middle of combat, each with different properties to the overall battle.
I might be the first to say this, but didn't anyone realize that SE took 10 dollars off Dissidia 012 for release? So in the end, even if you did buy the demo, you would still be in it for a savings of seven dollars for your purchase when Dissidia 012 comes out?

@Static-X
Thinking about your friend, it seems rather shallow of him to simply follow the trend of the major games out there and not the massive library that is available on the PS3.
Like what Silly gameAr said, those who are loyal to the brand won't be dissuaded to abandon a console purely out of fear of the unknown.
The core of the problem with that case is... I bet if Sony were to speak with Fail0verflow and Hotz in private instead of having this crazy copyright infringement debacle out in the open, I bet they would have a job secured at Sony. However, the end result is what we see today. I feel by the presentation they wanted to give the company was a terrible, terrible impression to try and secure a stable job.
Actually your are spot on with your assumption. Without a Gold subscription, a player can't be online to play multiplayer. It has been slated according to the Microsoft CES keynote, There are about 50 million 360s sold and 30 million Xbox Live Subscriptions active since January 2011. What wasn't highlighted was the number of Gold subscriptions, but if you assume that 10~20 or so million are Gold, then yes, the rest are offline using the Kinect or watching Netflix or something that doe...
The classic version doesn't have the survival aspect. It is merely creativity mode and infinite blocks. You and a bunch of friends can spend times making structures that are broken with a single click but the real stuff you make in the beta are the ones that really shine because there is additional content such as minecarts and rail road tracks, boats, dungeons, a layer of danger when night falls, expansive tunnels to explore and for spelunking.
Classic version is well.....
I think it is more like the devs wanted this type of behavior to happen. As much as they put the warning out to players about tactical insertion and the addition of theater mode, it would root out the terrible players of the group who aim to exploit the server just for some instant gratification.
Personally, this type of baiting isn't common with games lacking a recording mode available, but it is an interesting way to catch those idiots with their pants down. There will ...
The update patch for the PC will most likely hit consoles too, and all explosives will have their damage halved on the crate.
I.e., it will take 23 sticks of C4, and rocket fire from the RPG-7 and AT-4 to down a single crate. 32 from the Carl Gustav.
It seems you portray yourself as the elitist minority.
Sad thing is, if you have a PS2, your argument pretty much falls in line of saying, if you have the game already (with an expansive PS2 library), what is the point of getting it again remastered?
If you want to play the game for the game itself, fine. Just stick to the PS2. But don't start shoving your rhetoric for others who accept the fact that a re-mastering of a classic in High-Definition for 39....
You forgot the /s at the end. Don't worry, though.
Problem with that statement you got there is that some of the games that you know that have "violent" tones in them come from all over the world. Because of retailers hell-bent to keep their asses off of profits, any video game with the word violent in it will most likely not be sold at brick-and-mortar retail outlets. Walmart, Target, and maybe even Best Buy and K-Mart reinforce the laws government places.
Here's a small list of the international developers tha...
I would suggest walking into a Gamestop sometime this week and asking about the January 1st, 2011 release date for GT5.
If you can't do so, the 1/1/11 date is simply a placeholder till the developers can finalize a release date, then the number will be changed accordingly. Assuming that the placeholder is the release date is rather baseless.
Even the manager of the Gamestop I went to, told me that the 1/1/11 isn't the street release date.
It's funny. Watching this in action in the lunchroom of a community college I go to, was pretty amazing. I really enjoyed watching a Wesker, Ammy, and Deadpool combination on offline battle.
I wish I could had played it yesterday. The game was just right there.
