There isn't much difference between 1080p and 720p unless you put your eyes a few inches from the screen, then and only then you can see the difference. The lines appear a little bit more jagged (but not much)at 1280X720p when your eyes are a few inches from the screen. Now as your eyes are still close to the screen seeing those jagged lines at 720p start taking steps backwards and notice how those jagged lines are not jagged anymore lol. There is no possible way to tell the difference...
