It's a shame that this leaning towards mobile and free to play is happening within bigger developers in the industry. Am still kind of hoping when Shahid Kamal FINALLY announces this so called huge RPG that will have us playing for hours that it's by Level 5. I don't even feel we can really trust Squeenix any more, though FF XV does look like they may finally get some of their magic back, even if it's not a traditional RPG.
For goodness sake. So he has a sense of humour. Microsoft and Sony always take little digs of each other. I don't see why twitter is such a big deal. If Sony and Microsoft weren't up against each other then the games market would start to stagnate. Competition is only good for gamers as each side tries to one-up the other by bringing bigger and better things to the table. I find the fact that people get so irate over tongue in cheek remarks astounding.
Omg omg. If this is true it will launch ON MY BIRTHDAY!! EPIC WIIIIN!
I really, really hope Sony pull their fingers out with the marketing when this hits as it could seriously shift units.
Yes. You can happily spend hours on it without getting bored, trying to perfect each level. It becomes a deep strategy experience as you have to learn the best towers to use, where to place and when to research or upgrade to perfect each level.
I have it and it's ace. FYI I'm not really into tower defense either but this game is addicting.
It's £9.99/€12.99/$14.99 with an additional 20% off for the first two weeks for plus subscribers.
Good preview. Can't wait for the full game!
Agreed. I reviewed it on the vita lounge and it took me by surprise. After the disappointment of WRC 3 on Vita my hopes weren't high tbh. Anyone into proper racing games needs to try it. Given that it's that or F1 2011 it's a no brainer.
I have four dogs and my Vita has landed on the wooden floor at least 5 or 6 times now and aside from a hairline scratch that's about a cm wide my baby still works like the day I got her. Very well built and sturdy. The only drawback is the back touchpad which has scratches all over it....it looks like I've dragged it across tarmac yet never has it been dragged against anything.
I know what's you're saying but with PS3 the remote play feature had to be included in the software. With PS4 it's coded into the hardware so developers don't actually need to do anything aside from perhaps remapping buttons to get it to work. That and the acquisition of Gakai means PS4-Vita remote play is a certainty. Whether it stretches to PS3 at a later date remains to be seen.
It sounds like the reviewer played the entire game with the assists on...
The retail release doesn't involve crossbuy though.
Daxter on PSP is a spin off. In Jak and Daxter you control Jak but similar in concept.
Granted it doesn't look that amazing but there are a few things to remember - the game isn't out yet and this could be an older build of the title....if they have finished the rest of the game there may still be time for graphical tweaking.
The image is also on a streamed video and so the game may look sharper at release.
For me personally, I'd rather have a smooth framerate in a game like this over fantastic graphics but dropped frames. Also control is m...
No announcement for the vita demo. Worrying given wrc 3 ended up so stripped down on the vita.
Probably fake. Given that Revelations was developed first on 3DS it would have been easier and much more cost effective to do an enhanced port on Vita and see how it does than make an exclusive game. Capcom have already gone on record saying they're not doing Vita versions of almost anything for stupid reasons, so if this rumour is true my guess is it will either be a timed exclusive, or Sony has given Capcom a fairly big wad of cash for the exclusive. I'd love it to be true but I'...
The port is handled by Tin Giant, not Insomniac. Insomniac would never let a game be released like this, they're perfectionists.
That image is frankly awesome.
I know everyone is hating on this thing and I totally agree the fact it isn't clamshell is ridiculous, but I have an eye condition and can only see things in 2D, so the 3D feature would be useless to me and is one of the reasons I haven't bothered with 3DS. This at the lower price point has me tempted. Yes it's ugly as fuck but I only play games at home anyway. Not going to contend with my Vita by a long shot but still, Nintendo have finally got me mildly interested.
