Knowing it exists but not knowing much about it, I thoroughly enjoyed this read! Amazing that Capcom basically trolled everyone by continuing to show 1.5 when 2 was well on it's way in development too!
Doesn't Sony put an expiration date on the games though? If I check my ps plus games they have a date they are available till. So if I had a year of ps plus left the games I got free are playable for a year even if I go offline. After that, then you would have to log in to psn to check you still have a sub. I think.

I'm not defending Activision but more often than not everything isn't on disc nowadays. There's usually a day one patch that fixes bugs. Granted usually the bugs it fixes aren't game breaking but it still means the game on disc is not perfect. So one day all these games will only be playable with bugs. It's not ideal and if it is downloading games 2 and 3 that's shocking but they haven't confirmed that, they've just left it super vague.
Nice to see a serious comment here. I agree with you. It's a super cool thing that they are doing allowing sick children in to see the inner workings of the studio.
Naughty dog did so well on PS4 with TLOU2 trailer that I believe it is possible.

I wouldn't say archaic. The inertia in the Crash games always felt amazing. You can tell the controls are tight because of how small some of the platforms you have to navigate are. I would say that the level design is simplistic compared to what you get now but part of the charm is fantastic level design which although linear, is a joy to navigate.
I wish this would come up for pre-order on Amazon (UK). I keep checking and it still isn't there.
At first I was worried with an over the shoulder camera, but it looks way more zoomed in to the shoulder this time. In the trailer this made it feel way more personal to me, and I think it will make a huge difference compared to 4, 5 and 6 which weren't scary IMO.

Like it or not, graphics seem to still sell games. So as much as I would love your 4K/60fps theory, I think your second comment is more likely.
I think it's pretty certain PS4 will top 100 million. Does anyone think it will reach PS2 levels? As Sony consoles have sold well as budget systems when their successors have been released. I doubt it will get to 150 unless this gen ends up longer, but think about how cool it would be!
If I had disposable income like that I would buy the top model for sure!
Sorry but I really didn't phrase my comment well. I was referring to graphically. Meaning Xbox games looked better. I am in no way saying Xbox had better games. PS2 ruled the roost and even gamecube had better game IMHO.
I mostly agree, but I would say the PS2 era was the one place where they didn't necessarily lead the pack. The Xbox OG was mote powerful. I'm a Sony fanboy, I even have a tattoo, so I'm not saying this as a salty xbot.
The UK needs to catch up with that. We only see prices like that in sales. Then again I haven't looked in a while so if it's like that here I'll be pleasantly surprised. Not felt the need to upgrade yet anyway.
I play on a 1080p set. Yes, I am poor. As a carer who gets very little money. I know 4k will be standard for the next set of consoles, but I'm sure they will still allow people to play on 1080p sets.
Thanks! I think I've seen that channel before. They feature horror games all the time as well as RE don't they? Did think about subscribing to them before. Tempted to download 1.5 and have a go.
