I predict 600€.
I know it was mostly Platinum's fault... didn't say otherwise.
After the Scalebound f**kup, I don't think Microsoft would want to purchase them...
Better wait for multiplatform games on both platforms, then compare... to see which console has the biggest di*k.
That's nice.
When there's money to be made, rivals become friends.
Before Sony's "real next gen exclusives" we are probably going to get quite a few remakes of this gen on the PS5. Games like The Last of Us 2, Ghosts of tsushima, Spiderman, Horizon, etc, will likely get remakes on the PS5.
In spite of Unreal Engine 5 being available on every platform, it was shown on the PS5 and the console gathered a lot of attention because of it. Lot of publicity for the PS5.
Sony's PR department did a good job.
Microsoft simply doesn't have the exclusives to compete with Sony, even if they have the most powerful console. The brand Playstation is just way more popular worldwide then Xbox.
Between Sony and Microsoft, Sony will be the clear winner next gen without a doubt.
^^ THIS.
I like subtitles.
Microsoft is mostly about software sales...
If you take a step back and really look, at the end of the day Sony showed absolutely nothing related to the PS5 beside PR BS. What was shown was simply a 3rd party game engine tech demo running on the PS5, that will likely run on every platform out there... Sony's PR department worked their magic and transformed that to a PS5 world gaming publicity event.
You really have to give credit to Sony's PR department... they earned their money.
LOL.
Not surprising. Tim Sweeney never liked Microsoft...
Looks good. Ran at 1440p 30 FPS (no ray tracing) on PS5.
TFLOPs doesn't matter anymore... now what matters is the storage. /s
Sony doesn't want to repeat the X360/PS3 "war". They want to win by a landslide like the PS4.
If Sony prices the PS5 the same as the new Xbox, then the new Xbox already lost... and Microsoft knows that.
What else is new.
One developer will say Xbox is easier to develop for... another developer will say the PS5 is easier.
PR at work.
LOL.
Looks solid.
Have to agree with Sony on this... new console with new games running on that console.
Retrocompatibility is good to have on the console, but it's not the most important aspect...games sell consoles, specially exclusives...
