This is going to be another fanboy gangbang... LOL.
Good news for PC gamers.
"Unfortunately", some fanboys are going to be pissed.
Yep, the box has a smile on it's face.
Well... this is going to be a fanboy gangbang .
^^^
I just love pissing off fanboys... LOL. They are so easy.
Waiting for the PC version.
If no PC version... it's fine, Sony doesn't get my money.
Idiots will be idiots.
I expect Microsoft in a few years to launch their 1st party games in all platforms... Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft platforms.
Microsoft will likely continue with xbox, but they will become a 3rd party developer.
@Rude-ro
Pretty dumb thing to say.
It all comes down to quality... Sony's first party games are better then Microsoft's first party games. Budget is irrelevant if there aren't talented people behind the game. Sea of Thieves and Crackdown likely had larger budgets then most Sony's 1st party games.
"We believe in generations"
Sony lied... again.
Why do you care about the numbers? Do you have stock on Microsoft or Sony?
Is it about bragging rights, your console of choice sold more then the competition? Stop being a baby! Just enjoy the console with it's games and move on.
"lot of devs"... lol.
A few devs said it would mean more work to run the game on Series X and S... a few other devs said it wouldn't be much of a problem. Series X and S are basically the same machine, but with a less powerful graphics card.
It will be much worse to port games between PS5 --> PS4 and Xbox Series --> Xbox One in the next 2-3 years, to support old systems.
No.
Most developers are looking for a quick buck that a exclusive deal gets them, but don't think in the long run...
Tell me something, would you pay full price for a game that gets released a year later on your platform of choice?
Now imagine how many gamers will refuse to pay full price for a year old game... that's a lot of money lost for Square.
Yes, FF7 Remake sold a lot of copies on PS4 (I'm not disputing that)... but it would have sold a lot more if it was also released on PC and Xbox. When it finally released a year later on PC and Xbox, most gamers won't care about the game to pay full price. Most people, like me, will wait until it's dirt cheap on PC. No way in hell will I pay full price for a year old game...
Now just imagine how many sales Square will loose because of this deal?
Like I...
Were you happy about the Xbox Tomb Raider exclusivity? Did it help the game in the long run? I rest my case.
So... Who's feeling pretty stupid now?
Didn't the Avengers DLC PS4 exclusive help the game?... Didn't the FF7 Remake and FF16 exclusive deals with Sony help Square turn a profit?
3rd party exclusive deals ONLY help the platform holder, the developer always looses at the end. This goes for all 3rd party developers making deals with Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo. It just pisses off gamers from other platforms, and those gamers later on will simply refuse purchasing those games.
Who cares?
If this game wasn't console exclusive and a launch title, nobody would care.
@The Wood
Don't worry my girl... I got lube, you provide the opening.
I wont feel a thing, you on the other hand... might feel something.
