Sony believes in generations... so pay for the update.
In a perfect world there would be no exclusives... unfortunately we don't live in a perfect world.
If the Ori dev wanted their game on every platform, they shouldn't make a deal with Microsoft... or Sony... or Nintendo.

Microsoft need way more AAA exclusives then they are presently releasing (or not releasing) for Gamepass to gain traction. Without big exclusives, the service will stagnate.
Forza and Halo will likely give them a push, but they need more...

Playing it on PC, couple of hours in... It surely is a beautiful game, but calling it a great game is a bit of a stretch. From what I played so far, would give it a 7.

Sony first party studios work with external studios. Nintendo first party studios work with external studios. Is there a problem if Microsoft fist party work with external studios? If it's to improve their game and speed up game development, then let them work with external studios.
