Looking great.
Last generation it was the other way around... the Xbox was a much more powerful console then the PS2, and look what that got them.
I'm more concerned that the X360/PS3 are holding back multiplat games on the PC. It's about time to release new consoles. Developers are expecting it for some time. I wish some other company (cough ... cough ... Google, Apple, Sega...) would enter the console race, and make Microsoft/Sony move their as*es.
Just a side note: it would be funny to see a 1000€ Apple home console.
Since i didn't think anything special about Resistance 1 and 2... a 7 from Edge for Resistance 3 is probably spot on.
I still remember Resistance 2 was way overhyped by many many reviewers. They gave it 9's an 10's, but when i played it, i thought it deserved a 6 or 7.
I hope Resistance 3 is much better the the 2nd one.
Yes, because Activision games sell billions of copies in Japan. /s
Japanese don't buy the X360 simply because it doesn't have the crappie Japanese games that other consoles have. Just take a look at the best selling games in Japan... most of them are crap. In Japan, Microsoft needs the software if they want to sell the hardware. Then need the crappie games on their console that the Japanese buy.
As for European and American software developers, Japan is almost irrelevant, since their games hardly sell over there.
Xbox 720 launch title ???
"PS3 fans want Battlefield 3, not Modern Warfare 3"
... and yet MW3 will outsell BF3 (witch does not mean it will be a better game).
Screw the beta (i never have the luck to enter in betas)!!!
Give me the final version release date.
Don't agree. Obsidian did a good job with Fallout New Vegas.
If it's only Bethesda working on Elder Scrolls DLC's or new games... it will take more time to be released.
Only thing interesting coming from Square Enix are Eidos Interactive games (Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Tomb Raider, Hitman: Absolution, etc)
Screw the price cut, I already have a PS3. I want cheaper games. If they started releasing games at $30 (or 30€) instead of $60-70 (or 60-70€), then that would be interesting.
"I've played both PC and 360, to be honest I prefer the 360 version"
You got to be kidding me!!!
Deus Ex: Human Revolution PC version on DX11 is much, much better looking then the X360 version. The gameplay is smoother and has KB/Mouse combination... if you don't like KB, connect a X360 controller with a simple PC adapter (got it cheap on ebay).
Believe me... console fan-boys are much worser then PC fan-boys.
@jetlian
What game (or DLC) came out first on the PC/PS3, and after a wile was released on the X360?
There might be a game (or DLC), but i sure can't remember any. Even 3rd party PSN exclusives aren't released later on the X360.
Game looks interesting... Steam Sept. 13, $29.99 (-10% pre-order).
Not a bad price.
I'm going to rent ten 64 player servers /s
Yes it's dumb... but people that are undecided between the X360 and PS3 version, will probably go with the X360 version now.
Since Microsoft does not permit to be released on the X360 games or DLC that came out previously on other platforms, it was the only way for Bethesda to make more money... They had 2 options: or they release it at the same time on all platforms or release it time exclusive to X360 (and receive some money from Microsoft). They couldn't release it...
"Dual 590GTX and HD6990!!!!!!!!!!"
Big deal!!! ... they can't run facebook games.
I'm buying both... so who cares.
