I don't know why you're getting disagrees but you're actually right. Wit the amount of time they have the only thing they can't fix is the loading time. The frame rate and the textures are probably going to stay the same.
Unless it's Naughty Dog/Ice team that're helping them...
If it happens to be better than God of War then that's great. You, unlike the people that own only 360s, will get to experience both (God of War series and Bayonetta). I don't see any problem with that. Do you?
The PS3's user-base is very diverse and with the amount the console's been selling lately I wont worry at all. I'm sure all the games will do well (not MW2 well obviously) but they'll end up selling over a million Ltd.
While Microsoft is shifting it's focus to the casual market with Natal, Sony is trying it's hardest to keep the hardcore happy. 2010 will be a great year for all gamers, PS3 gamers especially.

You don't need to buy all the games at once. Just buy one finish it, by the time you do, the next one will be cheaper.
They should be fixing the controller instead (since the update I have to reset mine every time I put on the PS3 for it to sync).
