This is a very common practice in the industry, for teams of varying sizes.

Does anyone know if you have to rebuy if you own it on Xbox/PC? Or is it considered play anywhere?

I think it's a little more complicated than that. If I remember correctly it was Bioware's parent company at the time who sold to EA in 07. Wasn't completely on Bioware

It could be a vocal minority

I hate lootboxes as much as anyone here but from a business perspective why would they leave money on the table if the know people buy them? I just wish people would stop buying them.

Please not 2k, they're just as bad as EA with microtransactions

They didn't fire people to make the walking dead, the walking dead was not the only project they had in development, their employees would have been spread across several different projects.

Pretty sure it's from injustice 2, a big game play mechanic was switching out different armor pieces

By "Xbox games" do you mean Xbox exclusives? Undead labs and Playground were only releasing on Microsoft's platforms and the initiative obviously hasn't made anything. So don't really know where the 3 came from.

More misses than hits? They have released 2 games. Life is Strange was definitely a hit, Remember Me received mixed to good reviews, some might even call it a sleeper hit. At the bare minimum they're breaking even.

In a perfect world this is always possible. Gotta remember devs are on tight schedules and might be able to get to everything before launch. That said, totally agree with waiting to buy if a game is buggy.

Because it might be worth the long term investment. Look at games like call of duty and uncharted the first installments were good but didn't really hit huge sales numbers or highly critical reviews until the sequels. Developers are going to learn a lot from making a new IP those lessons can make the sequel a better game.

I started playing avidly in the last couple of months or so and I have been enjoying my time. You don't actually need the DLC, though it does provide some more variety. As far as playing solo I don't know, I'd find playing through the story solo boring. The end game content is where the game shines and that could be played solo or with randoms

Hey I play primarily on console and wanted to know if technical limitations hindered the experience at all. I'm a huge fan of the modern Deus ex games so I would love to play something in the same vein. I have a base PS4 and Xbox

I think you add the Fable series. At least the first 2 games seemed like good games.

Forza came out 10/3, Cuphead came out 9/29

Microsoft and Nintendo have been friendly in the past, like with Minecraft. Still highly unlikely, especially with the M rating and no Nintendo IPs showing up in Rare replay.

It's probably a different/smaller team working on it.

You're missing the problem if you think that's a solution
