the moment I saw this on a certain website I knew it'll become a trend on N4G and it surely did
but it will eventually. the same was the case with 3DS
it's barely powerful enough to run PS360 games? do u know it's running the PC version of Need For Speed: Most Wanted? something that PS360 can't take? Do u know that the ports currently on the WiiU dint take more than 5 months to port? Do you know EA had Crysis 3 ready for Wii U?
Don't go saying things you don't know. No dev has attempted pushing the WiiU so don't say it's not powerful enough
Is the WiiU less powerful than current gen (like we argue)? is it as powerful(like they want us to believe)? is it slightly better (like what we see here)? or can it war against the likes of PS4 and NextBox (like Reggie and Iwata have hinted)? Time will tell.
Personally I believe it can war against PS4 but time will tell
u need proof? the developer himself said it damn it!!!
@phantomexe it's just a sentence but it's the must sensible one I've read on N4G so far. Well done
This is just like the 3DS. Nintendo gets desperate and starts rolling out guns which will take the WiiU's sales to new heights, then when the "Next-Gen" consoles come out with their glorious specs, the WiiU must've built an amazing library of games thus out-shining competition.
This is just how I view things though :)
And developers with games not as good looking and not as broad are complaining about the specs.
That robot has two GN-Drives installed on it XD
If peeps wanted to play Madden or any other of those multiplats, they wouldn't have bought a WiiU because PS3 and X360 are even currently cheaper than the WiiU
And PLEASE!!! don't say 3rd party games aren't selling on WiiU. Just look at ZombiU, u can even check ur wara wara plaza. So it's these multiplats we dont care about
Why even compare the software sales of a console that's been out for six years to one that came out just a few days ago? what is the aim? things as stupid as this plague N4G
@Hicken
You have a good point, and yes, it is possible for WiiU games to be ported to the PS3Vita. I never said it was impossible, I said it wont happen. Sony made it clear that PS3Vita can do what WiiU can do but still didn't push it and dint motivate 3rd party devs. Get my point please
@MEsoJD
I understand. Item management is the most basic use of the gamepad. Just give it time tho, Nintendo is not new to the dual screen experience so be sure to enjoy your WiiU in the near future. There are hardly games out now that utilize the GPGPU, CPU and even the gamepad. But hopefully 2013 will be a blast
The Vita has been out for a while, Sony has been claiming that coupled with a PS3 it can deliver WiiU experience. Trying to get their fans to buy a Vita instead of the WiiU, I say that's ok.
But even you know that both Sony and 3rd party devs wont support the PS3 + Vita gameplay. So go on, buy a vita for your PS3 and wait for an elephant to fly.
If you want a dual screen console experience, you know what to do
It's not a matter of preferred version of the game or console, it's simply because of install base. WiiU isn't even a month old yet while the others have been out for about 6yrs. I wonder why this is even a topic to begin with. Were people expexting the number of users to match PS360 ?
Next Gen console is here, but no next gen games yet. Simple
it's a port to a console with hardware that isn't fully understood. I think it's o.k
Played Modern Combat, Shadow Gun, Dead Trigger, Sprinkle..... and so on. As a gamer, all these games left me unsatisfied. I need depth in my games, length, story, button mashing and so on. Mobile games are only for killing time to me, not entertainment.
DO YOU KNOW WHY THE CPU IS WEAKER THAN PS360?!!! COZ IT DOESN'T NEED IT!!!
Google GPGPU, that's what is inside the WiiU.
Bet y'all dint know about that and you claim to know about specs and techs. Wipe your asses
developers who have never attempted making games for it call it a current gen console. all they do is port old games that can be enjoyed elsewhere and dont even release DLC. If WiiU's first party games show next gen graphics then we'll see the truth abt these devs.
E3... Can't wait
