For the love of all things sensible, may they please have actual, non-tethered, shared base and progression co-op, otherwise this game will be a State Of Dismay.
Yeah just started playing it this week. There's hardly an hour goes by while you're trying to talk to an NPC and a Wolf/Cougar/Bear comes out of nowhere to eat their face. Does start to grate. I think they went a little to OTT with the open world random events, you never go too far without an enemy or animal attacking you.
Game Pass is like Blockbusters for me, or an extended game demo. I buy games I know I will love, I play games on Game Pass that I otherwise would never play, and that has led to some great insights into other styles and genres. Can't complain at all.
Haven’t started Odyssey yet but as I said above, I’m guessing you will have to do a few just to reach the level requirement for a main mission. No way I’m doing them all because it really bloats the game from a good 40hr experience to an 80hr game for no reason.
I just finished Origins, there is no need to play the all side quests, you only need to do a few to make up the level requirement to do main missions. You can gain levels by completing each location, and at least that has an achievement attached to doing so. I feel I wasted far too much time doing them all and then completely abandoned them at level 40 because there is literally zero benefit. Completely de-rails the immersion in the main story too.

Cross-play was a dream that sounded fun and interesting... and then we all realised it’s not that great.... becuz hackers.
A more varied array of land enemies for a start. If I have to fight another skeleton essentially wearing a different hat.... sheesh.
Bugs are rare? I beg to differ. The amount of times the green border sticks after a cut-away is ridiculous. You have to restart the game. And the amount of times after a match on career mode that the normal match screen doesn’t appear, you have to flick through between until it does...
It’s bar far the worst FIFA for bugs, and that’s just career mode.
If you love sports games, yes.
Each to their own, but I have played Madden, NBA and NHL each year for £19.99. Need for Speed, Battlefield, Star Wars Battlefront and A Way Out have just been an added bonus for me.

A game that features on neither the Metacritic top ten RPGs, or the user rated top ten. I think the majority disagrees...
I can't believe it's taken this long to add better co-op options and single player large scale battles. This is why it was such a disappointment when it released, really glad they stuck with it, it's actually a great blast to play.
Definitely a marmite game to both have an opinion on, and to actually play.
It's the most polarizing game I've ever played, you can have a great session where you meet friendly pirates and have a blast, or have people that will blow up your ship for no reason whatsoever. With the right group of friends, it's a great experience. Can't argue with that.

I like it, it's given me the chance to play games I would have never bothered because I wouldn't justify the cost.
Upvote from me, totally agree. Would be nice if the next Xbox has the chance to load data files so we could have proper kits and likenesses - I'd come back to PES in a heartbeat.

If you bought it before that happened, physical or digital, it's yours forever.
I think you're failing to account for the fact he purchased it full price. A small amount of praise can be given for sticking with it, but it should never have been released for that price given the shambles it was.
It's No Mans Sky all over again, credit for sticking with it, glad I bought it for Xbox, but man I'd have been peeved if I paid full price day one.

They need to update the massive connection issues they have with RDR more than anything. Persistent disconnects is a disgrace.
