if the PS3 slim is a success, the media will still find other reasons to make "PS3 is doomed" articles. The hate for Sony this gen is just absolutely ridiculous, I understand it back in 2006 back for some reason it actually gotten worse even though the PS3 is getting better.
at the end of the day, it's always about money.
I have both PS3 and 360, but I really want ME series to go multiplat simply because I love trophies!
It's Halo, it could run on 480p and people will still buy.
With this price cut the 360 can still outsell the slim. But the 360 can outsell the PS3 10 to 1, imho the PS3 is still a better console because of exclusive games.

a friend of mine actually said something very logical, a developer will not hand out a brochure of a game in a public gaming convention and state there that the release of the game is Q4 of 2009 if they meant was fiscal year, the vast majority of consumers will always think of Q4 as oct, nov and dec
ME is a great game, though bugs, glitches and occasional framerate drops makes it annoying sometimes. I still think ME franchise will eventually be heading to the PS3 as well.
I agree that they should lower the price of their peripherals but $300 for an elite plus wifi adapter that's a really great deal.
as long as the difference is not one generation behind and still very playable on both version, and will not notice the difference unless zoom in 2x or take a really good look at it, then I'm okay with that. PS3 exclusives looks better than multiplat games anyway.
