Every platform is moving all digital even Nintendo. Only a fool would believe that cartridge and disk will survive when 5g and fiber at all homes arrives. Steam started this migration and everyone will follow
I view it as Microsoft is looking to stay with technology improvements rather than watching tech surpass console during decay then releasing a step change.
Pc users have this option, phone users do as well. What really prevents progressive growth at a higher frequency vs step change on long interval? I prefer the option to improve as often as possible especially if the platform allows me to bring my content up with next iteration
It will be fine... perhaps not spectacular but it will be better than the order
1 to 2 aaa 1st party games from here on out on switch... it’s not looking good
Give it a rest the fact that there are any positive comments on this aggregate about Xbox provides enough evidence that they had the best show. Panties in a wad fanboys crying and throwing poop equates to win for Microsoft. Last of us 2 did look to be best game shown... that’s about it. I don’t get the Spider-Man insanity ... I will play it but looks like Arkham and infamous with spider skin. Beating up 50 uniform guys every so many feet will get boring fast
There isn’t much coming for any platform until 2019 other than multi platform.
Death stranding looked boring as a cardboard box. Love kojima but pacing of the game left much to be desired. Please let their be more to the gameplan
Lmao last year Xbox does not have enough games this year how dare they acquire studios to develop games. These articles are ridiculous... it’s blind to think all exclusivity comes at a price to studios. Sony paid to get insomniac for Spider-Man and kojima for death stranding....
The day you lose either platform is the day that quality and cost go out the window
Yeah even I do t think Sony is playing a bad hand this year... it will be hard to top the last 18 months but Sony has a deep set of studios. Not announcing a system that is not required is hardly a foolish move
Why is there a need for any hardware? Pc ps4 and x1 are all the same with slightly different ui. It’s foolish to enter the hardware market without some diffference from the rest.
Nintendo switch is a nice platform for the casual gamer. It isn’t the revolution that it is made out to be but it is what the Wii U should have been. Look forward to the next aaa first party title. Ports of third party have no purpose to my consumption
Lmao the leftist keep on spreading the propaganda to any and every media component owned by them...I look to kotaku or any video game website for accurate unbiased “news”
Bah just setup a conference call... online chat is over rated
Omg... selling all my consoles for this asap
The Xbox one x is the best console on the market period. Spin your justification fanboy crap all you want. The power gap is substantial. Enjoy your bickering and bashing but facts are facts. Own a 4 k then xonex is the best visual. Own a 1080p xonex provides best frame rate. If u just want access to games then pick your poison.
It matters to people that enjoy good games... why else to remakes work on various platforms and mini consoles . It’s a great gift to have content already owned made available on current use platforms
Yep Sony owns Spider-Man movie and game ip... it is there choice to make
The switch isn’t even as good a hand held as the 3ds. Controls in handleheld mode are far too small for an adult. I enjoy portable play but not at the expense of great console experience. Switch has sold due to a great Mario game a good to great Zelda port and sequel to a kiddie shooter. It will continue with smash bros... the hardware is barely adequate and missing standard features bc it isn’t capable like voip
Yes and Tesla is going to deliver an electric truck next year. Of course more games are in development... doesn’t mean 2019 has anything more? Hell we don’t know when last of us 2 will reach the shelf or ghosts... could be 2020. So you have a big secret vault of games that are worth selling next year? Didn’t think so
