I gotta tell you man, I played STO and its not worth it in my opinion. Even if they have patched up the horrid gameplay, the game itself is too far gone, player-wise, to be able to support any sort of mmo community based around the franchise.
The game was a flop at launch, bled its customer base almost dry and are only now offering price discounts?
Too little, too late, I'm afraid.
Warthog beats any vehicle in any game, hands down. My fanaticism against yours!
Looks like an interesting game, yeah.
I wouldn't get my hopes up just yet but the visuals are starting to come together nicely. I just wish they would release more content.
Hehe, you commented on my last post about this game ;)
I know the piece is kinda old but in my defense the other news post about 40k Online was just a link to the video. I actually wrote something about it.
I feel bad for the SCVs, I just smoked a truckload with a colossus a few minutes ago. Definitely not paid enough, imo.
Well written overall but you really shouldn't be using "..." and "!" in a professional article. Just fyi.
Anyone who smashes things with their wii controller is a putz and should stick to a 360 where a flailing of the arms scenario is kept to a minimum.
This game looks like it would appeal to my low-key megalomania. I approve. :)
I was unaware of the article series leading up to Halloween, report withdrawn.
My bad :)
Not too bad an article though, I agree with the concept.
Bravo, I had a good chuckle :D
Heh, I remember that show! 10 points for casual ancient cartoon references.
I would too... information on this game is almost non-existent, especially when it comes to screenshots or any updated news releases after May of this year.
They're only turning to video games since they have no other motives to consider. My dollar is on a low-laying mental illness that was prompted to the fore by something shitty happening to him over a period of time, and he just snapped.
No, Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2 involved storytelling and a lack of bottom-barrel, lead-paint eating, mmo ruining 9 to 15 year-olds.
"Can I have sum free armur?"
I played it for a while at the end of last year just to see what all the fuss was about, and the card combat aspect really piqued my interest since I dug Magic: The Gathering in high-school.
Because of and since the interview and upcoming status review, I've been playing a lot more, along side my very not video-gameish girlfriend and she loves the game so far. The concepts are easy to grasp and the combat while looking cartoony can get pretty complex with the different t...
Champions was better than STO but not by much. Its suffering from the problem most older mmos do: the majority of the player-base is in end-game content so the beginner zones are more or less empty of other players. Also, six months ago the game was still really choppy and the graphics weren't anything to write home about.
Still, ftp is ftp so I guess you get what you pay for, eh?
