The reasoning behind it not being on the PS3 is because you are trying to make it much larger to warrant a PS3 sequel but at the same time name them VC2 VC3 etc etc?
If they are merely upgrades and not a true sequel then why stick the number at the end?

It will probably be just DLC for SSF4 (Some freaking awesome costumes and Yun and Yang when they come out), the announcement date for Lost Planet 2 PC, more MvC3 character reveals and Dead Rising stuff.
