The controller may not be perfect but it is a hell lot better than the original x-box controller. And they need to fix the d-pad.

Sounds like a good plan to me. Fans of the series will buy a copy and keep it, others will might want to rent it and they can do so by downloading the game online for a period of time. But then again, the file will be huge.

Like I said before, a T-rated Mortal Kombat is a game I will not buy. There will be better T-rated fighting games available in the near future. Mortal Kombat is meant to be M-rated.

How could you not list Dungeon and Dragons, Metal Gear, and Civilization. Those three games spawned three new genre.

All three games you've mentioned uses the Unreal Engine. Star Ocean: The Last Hope just uses the latest version of the Unreal Engine.

Edit: The only screenshots we've seen of Final Fantasy XIII was from a year ago which isn't a fair comparison if you ask me. Also, I wouldn't compare a game that uses the Unreal Engine to a game that uses the Crystal Tool engine.

I agree that the screenshots are gorgeous, but the finish product won't look as good as the screens.

I call bullshots. The finish game will not look as good as the screenshots.
