Xbox has a super cheap package, for the really casual players. But if you wan't the best of the best, than Xbox is still the best choice. Xbox Slim with 250GB HDD, Xbox Live Gold (which I pay €35/year for, ehich is $45) and games that drop in price fairly quick.

TimeSplitters, Unreal, Quake, a real Banjo Kazooie, Rollercoaster Tycoon and Sim City. Those are the games they should continue to make.

There is a huge difference in multiplatform developing and building a game just for one platform.
If RAGE would be exclusively on Xbox 360 or PC, it would have looken even better than it does now on those platforms.
