Samsung? Serious? Don't take me wrong, everybody can have his/her favorite brand. But Samsung? Believe me they are better in marketing than in hardware.
Here is how they were locked up on Gamescom 2013.

The PS4 was not hot at all as long as I could check with my fingers thruogh the little holes

I don't know at which booth you were, but the X1 at Zoo Tycoon was frikin hot, where the Ps4 with AC IV was nowhere close. I got to the PS4 around 2pm and to the X1 around 4pm on 23.08. Just in case I checked the X1 once again on 24.08 but I was not in the mood to wait again 4-5 hours to get into the PS4 booth. Believe it or not it is your option...
I was at the Gamescom and touched both consoles. I have to tell you that the X1 was very very hot on top right side while it was running Zoo Tycoon. All the ps4-s were closed in a box with 6 smaller sized holes. I could touch the console through the holes and it got moderate temperature by running AC IV.
What can MS more offer in the long run? Seriously? A cable box? I have one and it is just fine, but wait a little and you'll see the PlayTV for PS4 just as for PS2 and PS3. Kinect 2? Even if it works it is just not such a big addition to the PS4 Eye as you can not use that in real games in such a clever way you might think (look back everything they promised for the first one). Cloud? It was confirmed that Sony has the similar, just not riding on it now as it is not something magical new ...
We will be there for 2 days, so I really hope it will be huge. This is our (europeans) chance to enjoy the same fever the US guys have on the E3. Both big players have to bring the real boxes this time otherwise I don't know how they are trying to sell their consoles if they are not ready.
@Stsonic
In im area in Germany the PSN has a steady 23-26Mbit/s on my 50Mbit/s cablenet over LAN. I don't know how long it takes to download a game as I'm not used to sit in front of it. Since the web version of the PSN is available I used to activate the games on the website and either ask my wife to turn on the PS3 or I turn on my self if I arrive and let the black box to do its job. Let the PS3 to download and install over night is another option, but because I'...
Sorry, both of them are without "The".
I've purchased the Unfinished Swan yesterday and I have to tell you this should be a "must have" as well for everyone. The game is brilliant!!! My other 2 favourites are The Journey and the Flower. If you have one or two move controller than the Tumble is a great fun too.
Because the 35% version was shown on the E3 Nobody knows what level they are at the moment. There isn't any indication at the moment what the 35% means. I don't know too much of software development, but I think many things like tracks cars UI are done parallel and those could have been ready before the E3 just simply not included. The major question which remains how much of the remaining 65% is the engine it self. Are we gonna see better visuals? Better control? Better physics? Sure...
Or it is simply summer holiday season and a 3DS is a good choice for travelling.
You are right but still, wouldn't you see 10 more threes, better AA, physics (imagine wind in a racing sim), better textures and so on instead of 60fps? On a PC i don't mind as you have unlimited power (even without the cloud, but within your wallet range) , but on consoles there is you the box and your coding skills. At the end only the experience which you will remember of.
So tell me what's the point for the 60fps? You have to render the scene twice as much which draws away resources from AI, physics, graph... but correct me if I'm wrong. I don't think devs ever really gonna sacrifice the power on the altair of the fps. I think this is the same issue as with the 3D option. That is never gonna work either. On the other hand my TV switch automatically to 24p with Blurays, and for me anything above 30 looks unreal. With 60fps I get this same old PC fe...
Am I see right that this article is a little... green? (MS green?) It is funny to call these steps a betrayal. IMO the only one was "The BIG Square-Enix". Not because that FF13 was ported to X360(what I think had a big influence on the whole game and what was a knife in my "piano black" heart) but that they betrayed the RPG fans with their massive amount of westernized garbage.
That is the best thing what I've ever heard. (The next could be a Shenmue I/II and an exclusive III for PS3) I hope this time people will respect the game much better than in the old days and going to sell better including TLG. I'm afraid they're not gonna fit in todays "shooting parade".
Sometimes I just don't get it why gamers aren't able to see the real art behind the games. (Like in this 2 excellent title) How is it possible to sell over 6-7 ...
I'm a member of that site. First and all, if you have never heard about it it's not a bug surprise. This is a Hungarian site! From a country in the middle of eastern Europe with ~10M citizen, and only couple of 100k gamers.
We had also a lots of discussion about the scoring, and some of you might right. There is no perfect game! The 10/10 would mean that in it's own time the game if superior compared to the others. And don't forget the all of the reviews any kind of media is subjective....
It is cool indeed! I loved the idea in Uncharted Golden Abyss on the PSV as well, but I still don't get why that could not been implemented in any other shooter. It was a great way for precision shooting. (at least in my case)
