No, they still only care about money, its just that the money comes from the gamers.
@Spenok
Saying they are willing to delay a game and actually delaying a game are two different things. They will talk the talk, but I'm not betting money that they will walk the walk.
bout them socks, no shoes.
Why??? I dislike that song so.
OT: Didn't pre-order any of the special additions, but these include some great stuff. Can't wait for the game.
When companies put DRM like this into games, it actually makes me want to pirate it.
I'm a big Star Wars Battlefront I and II fan, but this new Battlefront game is pretty bad. I'll be choosing Bo3 and then maybe getting Battlefront used down the line.
The beta itself seems to play well with little to no lag (for the few games I played). The game itself is lackluster. I knew it wouldn't be the follow up that I wanted, but I was hoping it would at least have some of the old feel.
For what it is, its decent, but for the proper battlefront that people where wanting, this isn't it.
My biggest problem is that the maps seem so closed off and confined. Hoths map is pretty open but nothing like the original games. I also hate how the vehicles are special cards and not an actual part of the map.
For what the game is it is good. But it doesn't come close to filling the spot of a proper Battlefront game.
That's pretty cool. Does anyone one know if the survival will be the only offline option?
Bigger games, better quality. It is these sizes that prevent me from downloading all my games (that and I still love actually owning them). Sadly my internet speeds are pretty decent but not quite fast enough.
It does look really clunky and slow. Find out this week with the beta.
I can see this game inspiring me to do stupid stunts with a wingsuit.
I haven't played a Call of Duty game in quite some time, so can't compare it to the recent ones, but I thoroughly enjoyed the new mechanics and gameplay.
Umm I'm a poor college student who had to sell plasma to pay for my medium build PC, so just because I have a PC doesn't mean I'm rich. But I believe in a try before you buy so I sometimes pirate games until I can afford to buy them, unless they suck which I just delete.
Also this article/research includes circumventing in-app-purchases (IAP), which isn't really stealing if they give the game out free and you modify it to your liking. So these numbers might be...
Anyone use the battery pack? Is it any good or unobtrusive?
Awesome, but I'm still waiting on a PixelJunk: Monsters 2. One of my favorite games from last gen.
Just Cause 3
Uncharted 4
Horizon: Zero Dawn
Fallout 4
The Last Guardian
Black Ops 3
In no particular order.
When are they going to add an eye create like they had on the PS3? Nice additions though.
1) Vehicles
2) Less Loading!!!
Otherwise I am still very excited for this game.
Agree on the more cloud storage, have to micro manage my saves to not run out of space.
Also a select all option when trying to back saves up to a USB drive would be really nice, having to individually go to each game to back it up is tedious.
Sweet, IMO this is the best Legend of Zelda.
A proper sequel to the Star Wars Battlefront series
