In oblivion (PS3 version) I had been playing for what seemed like forever and then I got turned into a vampire, so I do the quest and it turns out I can't finish because of some bug, had to throw that character out, thanks Bethesda!

The article says that the Wii U is "next-gen", I don't know if the writer of the article or anyone else has seen the specs or heard from developers, but they all say that its just a powerful as the PS3, which is current-gen.
So this tells me that the Wii U isn't next-gen but current-gen, which is only farther validated by the fact that it might not contain a HDD or high capacity SSD.
Sony's 'NVG' is most likely based on SD card specs, so it can probably hold 32gb if they wanted it to. The only reason they wouldn't is because it would cost to much to develop and it would cause the price of games that use it to skyrocket.
