I am quite disappointed that Shadow of the Colossus doesn't run in native 1080P (I'm sure the PS3 can handle it?). Now I'm going to have to switch the XMB to 720p mode when playing it, although MLAA is a huge PLUS.
But honestly I never thought in my dreams that they would remaster these two classics for the PS3...*sniff*
If there's one thing I despise the most in this generation (other than call of doody), it's the new trend where developers release a half-assed game and then patch it later. Why can't you release the game already complete f**kers!

No software update will allow the 360 to display two true 720p images. The 360 is limited by HDMI bandwidth as well as eDRAM.
Lol, the deferred lighting system (which is being used for the PC and PS3 versions) is more technically impressive than the one being used for the 360.

GT5 is a completely different game now than what it was when it first came out.

My question is: does that extra generated geometry such as the pic you posted in the link affect objects? For instance if a vehicles drives over it, do those extra generated bumps in the surface actually affect the vehicle and cause it to actually shake more for instance?
Obviously it doesn't matter to us owners, but for others that don't, they'd be stupid not to buy one.
And I was mainly talking about the Wii, even though the 3DS is also much inferior to the PS-Vita
No it's Nintendo's fault for releasing a ridiculously outdated hardware that made most third party dev exclude it, and I don't blame these developers. You can only do so much with a pathetic last gen machine...

I 100% agree. Shadow of the Colossus is FACTUALLY one of the most technically impressive last gen games. It's actually the only game I can think of that used HDR lighting.
