I couldn't agree with you more. As much as I want to it be a great game, I just don't think the comprimise is acceptable now that we have two very powerful next-gen systems to work with.
I was hoping for at least Gears/Assassin's Creed/Uncharted quality...shame.
Well that I may be but I did note this in my first post. I personally play games for the story too but I can't help but think this game looks last gen to me.
I do hope I'm wrong though and they spruce it up near the end cos otherwise it looks great (overall)!
Sorry, the frame-rate and textures still suck. I guess we have a while till it goes gold so hopefully it'll look up by then. Shame Rockstar had to split it's resources over two systems.
Am I the only one who is underwhelmed by the textures in these screen shots? I'm seriously thinking that making this game multi-platform is limiting how well Rockstar can make this game...
I think the main reason why many aren't exactly 'peachy' about all this is because Microsoft is taking something away from around half it's user base - that being timed exclusivity for downloads.
Yes it sucks and I personally don't agree with it either BUT I do think that if Microsoft had done this since the 360's launch, then nobody would have battered an eyelid about it.

You're not wrong there. It's happening everywhere here in the UK and it's even more one-sided in Europe. Most stores over there don't even stock HD-DVD's anyway.

Poor guy, I actually like him along with Brad and Rich (who was the best there imo). Morale in the office must be at rock bottom right now - wouldn't be surprised if they've already started looking for new jobs. I would, would never work for such a company who treats long-term employees like that!

Yes we all have to wait for FF games cos they're translating them. For your information even after the wait, the US gets the damn games ealier than the EU - fact! Don't talk down on us because you've never experienced the shafting SCEE gives you - unless of course you've lived here for the past year.

I personally lost interest at SM2 so I won't be buying 3 unfortunately. Now Die Hard 4 on BR is another story altogether! I do agree with the sentiments that Ratatouille will sell more than both Transformers and SM3 - maybe even combined on BR! It was very funny and can definitely see parents buying it for BR if they can this holiday.
