Forgive me for asking, but didn't RE2 and 3 come out on gamecube? I've always wanted to play them but never got the chance. I see you said fully remade, so I'm guessing that they held something back? I saw RE2 for the gamecube for sale the other week at a used game store but didn't have the money to get it.
I hate the term overrated. Just because a lot of people like a game and you don't doesn't mean it's overrated. It just means you didn't like it. It's an opinion.
They don't make triple the profit. Do the math. For arguments sake they buy a game from you for $20 and then sell it for $54.99. Subtracting the cost of buying it from you, the profit is $35, not even double what they paid you. And what if they didn't sell the game originally? They had no original profit from the game. Most of what Gamestop buys from people probably wasn't bought there.
I have no problem with what Gamestop does. A lot of the time the games they buy back from people were not bought at Gamestop. They didn't make the profit from selling it new, so they need to recoup the cost of buying it. It's a video game pawn shop.
What about Shaq Fu?
Before I got on the site today I knew there would be a joke posting about Half Life 3.
I know. Its nothing compared to what all the other companies do for their systems on the anniversaries of their systems...
Chill out dude, its not meant to be a big thing. Just something for the fans. I'm waiting to get my street pass so I can get a new puzzle piece.
The reason is simple. They have no self esteem and instead of fixing themselves they decide it is easier to just cheat and be annoying. All they have in life is to convince themselves that they are good at something that really doesn't matter at all.
If that ends up being the day I'm going to poop my pants.
What does it matter? Like winning an award on a Spike TV award show makes any difference to the game what so ever. Video game awards are all useless, not just Spike's. I'll probably only watch some of it to see if there are any big announcements but that's it.
Totally agree! Competition is the life blood of innovation. I will never understand why people will hate a specific company for no other reason than it's not what they buy. I love all the systems and companies and I want them all to succeed. If they all continue to make great games and devices then they all have to work hard to compete with each other and that means we the consumers benefit.
Agree completely. If you go trying to find it, then you'll see it everywhere.
This is a prime example of someone who needs to be upset with something. They take something and twist it around in their head and make it worse than it is. It just shows how they are as a person that their mind went in such a direction. I've played the game, and all I thought was, "Great, a monster is trying to kill me."
Personally, I really liked Other M. It wasn't my favorite Metroid game. Super Metroid, Fusion, and the Primes are way better. But ...
These are so close it shouldn't even matter. You can't lose with either system. With a game like this that is almost guaranteed to be amazing, everyone wins.
I'm still waiting for the Batman/Superman movie advertised in I Am Legend. ;)
I like the game. It's fun to play in my spare time but come on people. I'm sick of hearing about it so much. People take the success of this one game and say that mobile gaming will take over. So because one mobile game developer out of the dozens upon dozens made ONE game that sold well, this means console gaming is dead? If Super Mario Bros. (or any big title console game) was only $.99 or free then it would have sold billions.
I think the term overrated is used way too much. Ratings are opinions. Just because you don't share that opinion doesn't mean that the game is overrated, it just means you don't like it. Why try to ruin everyone's fun by trying to convince them that what they like sucks? Everyone has different opinions. You don't need to feel threatened if they like a game you don't It's not a big deal.
I don't see the point in writing an article like this so early. Next to nothing is known about the Wii-U and the games. There is a year for Nintendo to work on it. I know what you are thinking, a year isn't enough time to make major changes, but there is more than likely a lot about the system they have not told the public. They haven't confirmed the price or listed any launch titles. Saying that the game pad is large and clunky doesn't work seeing as how many people now ...
I thought Halo 2 was a really good game. I feel the story was good, the levels and the designs were really good, and I enjoyed playing as the Arbiter. While I felt the story was good, I thought they didn't do the best job telling it. I remember when I first played and thought to myself, "Ok what is Gravemind?" I wasn't too impressed with the final boss fight with Tartarus. I would have rather finished the game playing as Master Chief too. The series focuses on him and ...
