Now to find out what exp port next to the headphone jack will be used for.
Lol nice, bubble
Picked one up this week and was very happy with the improvements to the ergonomics of the outer casing and the textured grip on the backside. And L2/R2 are actually triggers ... win
@xsilver BF4 is already on it.... punching the dog in the face in the trailer as we speak
Gamestops in my area were the same way this past weekend. As cool as it would be though, I doubt they would break street date for the console
Nice!
Or a European PS4 player.....
Slightly off topic: I still cant believe that there's so much to do over a 300 MB day 1 patch... the hardware specs have to be locked in sooner in order to meet production and QA requirements, software has a much longer timeline to develop and improve before the hardware goes live.. all 3 next gen consoles have a day 1 patch along with most othe r consumer electronics. Its not the end of days, only Agile Project Management 101. End rant
Same here... until the lockout ended. It was the first NHL game I played since 96 and was amazed at how deep and diverse the series had become. I'm pissed that NHL 14 wasnt on either next gen console.
Everyone above makes awesome points... take their advice. If you're used to a run and gun stlye of play (I.e. call of duty)... Be prepared to die, alot. Dont get frustrated, its just a different style of play. Find a good team and learn from them
I wouldn't say its dead yet as Activision confirmed there were two cod titles in the pipeline when bo2 released (Ghosts being one). There is still a very large audience for this franchise.
I'm really looking forward to the single player portion of this game and see where they take the story line, but he has a point about the multiplayer. I recently switched to the BF series and I've been very pleased with it, its my fps for 2014. Despite the gameplay changes IW ha...
In fairness (as a current ps3 owner) the original NES had the blinking red light of death phenomena in the late '80s where no amount of blowing in the cartridge or deck would save it... I went through 4 NES's that gen and several of my friends lost a couple as well. It wasn't as wide spread as the rrod but you weren't going to get a free replacement console. At least MS took it on the chin and had a field campaign for affected products. As a quality eng. I have seen how recall...
That would be a fantastic option! The custom emblem editor is abused so frequently In other franchises that its outright embarrassing to the rest of the gaming community.
For every 1 well designed and creative emblem or respectable clan logo there are easily 10 others that fall into one of the categories you mentioned. I'm all for giving adult gamers the freedom to use the product how they see fit, but give the rest of us an option to turn it off
Bingo.... as much as I want to jump right into MP on launch day, I think I'll run through the storyline during that first week just to avoid the frustration
Points for the power glove reference
@310dodo.... right there with you ground pounding.... I can't fly a damn thing in this game but here's some ammo and medkits when I'm not spotting
The author made a series of excellent points in this section. Ive been gaming since the early days of the NES and I bought a wii when I came home from my second tour in Iraq because I wanted some mindless fun entertainment and Nintendo was my preferred option, especially since most of the Xbox and ps3 hits available at the time were too closely related to experiences that I wanted to forget. After a few years went by and I adjusted to civilian life I switched to a ps3 (personal preference) ...
@campy... good point, didn't mention the FCC clearance.
Sonys in a better position to launch first if they had to undercut microsoft's timeline. No one know where either company really stands on product production but it would appear that Sony is better prepared to launch from a hardware standpoint.... 3rd party devs could force the to launch closer to Microsoft in order to maximize revenue and allow them time to finish development
Edit: left out that Microsoft can probably match but not beat Sonys release date, especially si...
Bubble... good comparison.
