Was second to get it and they gave me COD 3 &4 plus a poster that I just left there. The only problem was they would no sell it until 2pm Look at the PILE of PS3's they had behind the counter,most were the 40gb I counted around 70 just sitting there. The girl at the counter said they should just give them away because nobody is buying them. She said they had a bunch more in the back too. So much for the price cut.

I did get a free copy of COD3 which I am going to turn around and trade in to Gamestop. Btw I bought the 360 version but my HD tv is out for repair so I cant play for anoter day or so. Your wife, Mom ect Walk's into Best BUY and there is a pile of B-ray on the left for $400 plus dollars and a pile of HD dvd's on the right for under $199 with 2 movies packed in and a mail in for 5 more and each says NEXT GEN in dvds. Guess which one people are going to buy? it's all about money fellas and if you don't know that then your head is stuck inside of that useless PS3 of yours.
It was the A2 and they are ALL gone...bye-bye......The A3 is $199 with 7 to 10 free HD-DVDs. Hey who cares what they loose? I have a PS3 for BR and I have the A3 for HD. I wont pay for dvds on either until they come down to $20 bucks or less,they are at a piont where they can sell standard DVDs for $15 bucks or less. Oh, and I have a 360 for GAMES. Waiting to get the system back because it was THAT good. If the 360 had a HD player that format would be in the lead. The issue is price, just like people will not pay $600 bucks for a game system (hello PS3) people are NOT going to buy $400 BR dvd players when they can get a $99-$200 dollar HD DVD player. BOTTOM LINE....sorry fella
Case in point, I have a PS3 and I still bought two Toshiba HD players last Friday. The A2 for $99 @ Walmart and the A3 @ Circuit City for $199 and that came with 7 free HD dvds. People care about cost bottom line, I got mine so I have each no matter who wins. I would also like to add that NEITHER format will will unless they lower the price to the $20 dollar range for the HD/BR DVDs I refuse to pay more then $20 bucks for ANY dvd. I also HATE that new 360/PS# games are $60 bucks too.
BETA was way better than VHS but VHS was less money. I have a 60 GB PS3 but I did buy 2 HD dvd players on Friday, Why? The A2 was $99 dollars at Walmart (Sold out there and BEST BUY and every other place that had them at that price) and I bought an A3 at Circuit City for $199 with 7 free HD dvds (this is the new $300 model) sub $200 people will buy next gen even if then dont own a High def TV.
