As an owner of a 60 GB PS3 (which I use to play PS2 games more) I can tell you this was a total waste of $350 (Amazon deal) Unfarted took 7 hrs to beat and was not even fun until the monster level near the end, RFOM was good,MGS4, HS and the Baseball game THAT IS IT. You hit the nail right on the head, "wait unti MGS4,wait until RFOM2" ect.ect. these games come out and NOTHING changes. This system is $400 US.......that means it's an adult system . I do not know too many people running around saying "wait for LBP" it is a fact that Best Buy and the like push the PS3 as a cheap Blu-ray player that can also play games and if it were not for that the PS3 would be in worse shape then it is now.
It will be YEARS before they can come near the $199 of an Xbox 360 suckers!
Mr. Divnich just released a report estimating September's NPD sales and claims that Microsoft's 360 price cut spurred console sales in the region to the tune of 320,000 units for the month. If true, September would be the first time in 2008 where the 360 sold over 300,000 units in a month. Even better news is that September's PS3 sales are estimated to be around 215,000 units or less. Official NPD sales numbers release October 16th

You all make a big deal about the PS3 selling in some 3rd world Muslim S-hole because it is getting beat EVERYWHERE else but when a TRUE story about just how bad games are on this system you want it shut down. You PS3 babys need to grow up. Why don't you just buy each system? I have each and the sad thing is I have had over 100 360 games but the PS3 has only had 5 games that were worth my $$$$$ Truth hurts ladys

It is a FACT that DVD's KILL Blu-Ray the sales are not even close. Until the price is BELOW $20 US and if the players do not go below $200 US it WILL fail. Within 5 years you will download every movie on your TV via cable/Sat. system or internet and even the DVD will go bye-bye. The ONLY Blu-Ray dvd's I have are the ones I got for FREE when I bought my 60 gb PS3. The Dark Knight will be the #1 Dvd this year BTW.
Just like UNFARTED, HAZE, R&C (How well did THAT kids game sell?) even the mighty MGS4 could sell ONLY 3 million (that is until they put it on the 360) 360 games will once again rule the Christmas season.
