I think you should look at it in respect to the genre. Platinum Games is an expert in the genre.

I've been holding on to the NVIDIA GTS 450 for years now. 12GB of DDR3 and an AMD Phenom II X4 have been holding it down. :( Maybe it's time to upgrade pretty soon. I don't know how much Ass Creed will make me purchase it on PC, though.

Sad, most of those games are sitting in my backlog. I wish there were more hours in the day. But, I can say that Uncharted was one of my favorite series. Wish they didn't have to go and make an Uncharted 4. Just lay it to rest, already.

I think Destiny is overrated. I mean, it may be the 'Halo' that PlayStation fans have wanted for years, but I don't think it's everything there is in terms of gaming. I guess...atm it is.

It's the lopsidedness of the industry: Millions sold, a game is a failure. Popular AAA games go to most powerful console. Which, to those who say graphics are not everything, doesn't make sense.
It's kind of like that "popcorn" movie genre. Rambo games (ones you turn your brain off and shoot stuff) are fun to play, period. Not giving these games to the most casual console is really only a disgrace to the CoD genre, not the gamers themselves, I guess. ...
It's a different developer than other games in the series. Plus, he is a hipster in this one. He was fast and blue before it was cool.

I think the hype for the game is real. People didn't really start to get behind the first one until much later in the games' lifespan. I guess most would consider that 'cult' classic-esque.
