I would have appreciated it more if it were intended to be episodic, thus not hurting its overall flow. You make gamers care less and less when broken up, not to mention, when it's not supposed to be in the first place.
Neither do you. It could be so awesome that your eyes bleed. Yet, you've already discounted it showing how narrow you are to gaming in general.
I was taken back when they did this. I was stoked for a new Hitman game. They flip flopped so much. I have played the first episode and was actually impressed. That was, until I played, and played, and played the repetitive training mission.
I don't think 7.5 is bad by any means. That's still a good game with some faults.

Just like the Star Fox 0 argument for the easy mode. The game can include it, doesn't mean you have to use it.
Games should be for everyone to enjoy. Why is dark souls so special then. No one has managed to explain that.
How hard is it to implement a semi-follow able story? Especially for Io and Square Enix co op
