I agree with 6 or 7 of the features on the list; if we can get most of em from Bungie Halo: Reach is sure to be the top-selling game of 2010, blowing away all PS3 exclusives in terms of sales (maybe not metacritic score).....
If Nintendo keeps publishing games that sell to women and kids the answer is yes, that's why I own my Wii.....
They should have added the XBLA titles, then this list would be ultra-ownage....update please!
I wish Aliens vs. Predator had been a better game, cool list though!
The title is just his opinion, for him Heavy Rain is THE reason to buy a PS3, others may have differing opinions; thus this great world we live in!
Obviously the two games are not exactly the same, that being said I have played both and the experience IS similar - the article is about buying a PS3, however not all 360 owners are going to do that and for them Alan Wake is a comparable game that will be a worthy purchase. Unfortunately I don't think Heavy Rain will sale well and so we won't get a sequel, hope that DLC comes fast and a lot!

The Marine campaign is the worst of the three, Predator is the best and multiplayer is quite fun when a bunch of people are online!
I gotta agree, if the LIVE and XBLA functionality is on, as well as great access to MS Office aps I'm getting one day one.....exciting news!
I hope someday they scan Taylor Swift into a video game, oh wait she was in Band Hero - what a shame she is not on this list, I call foul! (even though I'm a girl I can still be into virtual ones)
I agree with the article, but I DO want Heavy Rain and Uncharted 2.....
Here's hoping that Final Fantasy XIII will be sitting atop this list next year.....hope that game is so good!
All of these are good ideas for when you're not gaming, try to get outside every once and a while (especially with dating) - although I think the perception of gamers as pale basement-dwellers is wrong....
Not sure if 3D gaming will take-off, at least until they do it without the need for glasses - no one likes glasses (more accessories)....
I watched the review team play a bit of this and it looked really good - graphics are top-notch....another good game by Visceral!
Easy pick for me is Bad Company 2 - game is freaking sweet and the online will be there to stay!
