and then one gigantic reason that it won't: 15 bucks a month on top of the retail price.
It's just one of those 'strategic partnerships' that exist nowadays.
You know, like the one that ubisoft has with sony, or the one that activision has with sony regarding destiny? And don't forget sony's partnership for the batman games.
And now this one, ea's bf 4 with microsoft.
And how in the world do you have 7 bubbles when you spurt out comments like that?? :/
Um...what??
Honestly, you guys and gals just bashing molyneux and spielberg and whatnot are such kids.
@ExPresident
How do you mean?
You can download stuff and be online on xbox for free as well.
Added competition is always great and I'll keep a close eye on steam's plans for the living room, but for now I'm strictly on console gaming.
No company is perfect or always delivers commercially successful products.
I love steam and the services it offers, but I just don't see the point of this.
Most likely, yeah.
I'd rather just have one machine or pc that does it all. Frankly, this steamos stuff just sounds like things exclusively tailored to games.
I think I'm just going to stick with windows for both gaming and productivity for work and school.
how does it seem confusing?
you can pin anything you want on custom pages, there are recommendations based on your activities and interests, and there are all of the usual pages (music, games, games store, video store, etc.)
I think GTA 5 just did..
The sales this game is raking in is just ridiculous, in a good way.
This is definitely going to be helpful, imo.
that would definitely be great, but I still found halo 4's writing to be very well done and tight.
600 hours??
Dang. Honestly, I could never spend that much time on any one game.
Should be fun to watch the two tech giants duke it out.
I think the answer is easy enough.
China opened up their country a little, microsoft saw the opportunity, and here we are seeing them partnering up to distribute a gaming console.
microsoft is a huge company.
they have the resources and personnel to do this.
@Goku781
I'm really not going to take anything you say seriously anymore. All you do is spout negativity towards microsoft, even on the good news.
Here's a troll in full form.
OT: I don't mind waiting until all of the bugs are polished out, but I do hope they show off the UI sooner than later down the road.
I honestly don't consider Halo over-rated at all.
The stories in the games have always been tight and well-written and have always had a connecting arch throughout all of them, even ODST.
The gameplay has some of the tightest and most polished controls in the fps genre and the mp has always brought me back after I've finished the game.
Well worth my $60 each time a new Halo lands (well, except ODST, of course).
