I bought my ps3 for $1000 bucks here in australia and games start at $110... If i bought a game in britain for 35 pounds It would roughly cost the same amount. I thought it worked like that.
Our minimum wage is much higher then the American minimum. It kind of balances out. Plus shipping.
The Current is just getting stronger and stronger.

BAR ps3 sales in this report. ADD Firesale prices.
And hd dvd STILL....STILL couldn't outsell blu ray stand alone players.
but everyone will be buying flat screens anyway.
"and dont forget companies save alot of money with DD"
They wont be making any money because everyone will just illegally download.
The world is moving to HD. Slowly but surely the public will be completely HD.

Yeap...sums it up about right. Give me physical anyday.
The music industry is steadily crumbling because of illegal downloading. When will people understand that if you dont pay for it, it wont be around forever. But then .. Why would you pay for it if you can get it for free.
Who finishes last here?
By the way its nice to see sensible forums :) and discussion.
Sorry wageslave i disagree mate DD for Australia is going to be so far away. our connection is laughable and people are getting banned here for using to much bandwith as it is and no1 barely downloads HD movies yet. plus they will be compressed.

AbientFLyer I believe i read somewhere that even resistance used 17gb on the blu ray disk.
And other games made for the xbox have to cut down to fit the DVD. Fact is very soon devs will be using this space because they have it available. In 2-3 years it will be interesting to see how t...
