yeah. It worked for me...While the servers were up i was playing the game smoothly. when they went down that was it..freezing and glitches.
So i logged off and its been fine since.
Must be coz the MP is intergrated with the SP.
The only opinion i trust is Yatzee (zero punctuation)because he tells it how it is unlike more high profile game reviewers. Naming something game of the year is an opinion of a bunch 20 somethings.
lackluster story. Repetitive game play. Uninspired drab looking settings with weapons to match. goldeneye had better hit detection. Its not BAD..its just mediocre thats all.
Im not going to be mezmerized by a games graphics and all of sudden think all its obvious flaws...
How about if gears would set the bar in other things BESIDES graphics. That was GeOWs failing. To much time to trying to look pretty with no substance and repetitive gunplay.

Did you want load screens every street? Im no tech head, but im faiiiiirly sure theres nothing in this world that could handle something like that. (i could be wrong) and if it could. You wouldnt be able to afford it.
The biggest thing that bugged me was a video i saw, when the main character walked up to a random guy and bowed up his fists ready to fight.

He deserves all the press he gets. hes the only reviewer i trust.
I understand more things get under his skin then mine and alot of hes demeaning comments are for amusment, but when you look at the core of his reviews, they are made up of very knowledgible and insightful notions.
And more often then not, i find my self thinking (that is so true).
Ocarina of time is still better then most games ive played.. and i still play it. I still play SOTC and ICO.
Graphics mean sh!t. the best games ever made are inferior graphically to the current generation and are 10 times better.
just shop smart. I have never payed anything over 80Au bucks for a brand new ps3 game. when COD4 came out. on the 1st day i bought it for 79.
I would stongly advise every1 to not buy games at the store price.

the aussie minimum wage is more then the american minimum wage(i think) so its not as bad as it seems. Alcahol here is very very expensive compared to america aswell...I remeber seeing 1 ltre vodkas in the states for 15 bucks here its something like $50(im not really a drinker so the prices arent exact)
