The difference between compressed audio is amazing. Go put on MGS4 or Bad company and then put on a game with crappy sound compression and you can tell the difference (Obviously im not talking about speakers on your TV)

i did EXACTLY the same thing with my N64. Packed up all of it and got a ps1...thing is...i remeber enjoying the Hell out of my N64 and zelda was 1 of my All time fav games....not sure why i took the plunge and got a ps1...but i was like...10 years old and the guy sold me a copy of this "crazy new steal game called Metal gear solid or something"......good times:P
your list overall is pretty good ...but oblivion looked like crap i thought....the art direction was pretty much stock standard. not a fan.
DS games would be way cheaper to make coz they are mostly mini games or remakes.

Im just curious....To people who play these sorts of games, im a massive fan of post apocalyptic worlds...But in these RPG's is there much of a storyline...does it reach a climax ...how does it work?
Edit: oh no i understand that, its just....Is the storyline strong throughout with an epic ending or ?? because in these types of games you sorta build the character yourself...so...they cant really use your character in the story much (personality wise)...so how does the climax a...
