Poorly expressed. Not overrated but is overrated?
In the last 2 weeks the store i work at has sold near 250 copies of new super mario bros wii. I find it interesting that the author talks about sending Nintendo the wrong message. If this game sells more than Galaxie, does that not mean that people prefer this game more? What is so wrong about this message?
I mean - its all the same recycled crap over and over and over again anyway.

I refuse to believe that that was the case for you. I can video me with leather armour on and NO weapons and EASILY take out 20+ men (and NO that is not a boast of my skill).
I finished the game in about 20 hours and I only died about 3 times because I fell too high.
Well Assassin's Creed is a good game but equally flawed. Perhaps not as bad as 4.5/10 but still.
Facial animations (especially Desmond's girlfriend who does not even look human) are very poor.
The purchasing of weapons, ammunition and armour is absolutely pointless because you can take out an entire batallion of men with your bear hands and one section of health.
AI is weak as hell, and the climbing mechanics are terrible for precise platforming ...
Bayonetta seems like its trying to hard to be arty - for me it just comes out pretentious.

I work in an Australian video game store. When we sell a new game - lets say COD MW2 for example - we will pay about $90Au for it and sell it for 109.95.
Pre owned games pay the bills. Any game dev complaining about preowned sales is nothing more than a coporate greed monger.
LOL. I love fallout 3 but some of the ridiculous crap that has happened to me is unbelievable.

Well I just killed the orange dragon by shooting 200 arrows into it as it made the same pass over and over again. The funny thing is I was on the rooftop where he could easily have attacked me but didn't..

I'm use to ElementX being a fan boy.
GOW3 will be fixed camera positions meaning that it may look better but it will be superficial.
Therefore
its not fair to judge it against Uncharted 2.
ie: Fixed Camera positions means that they dont have to render the entire area and can save resources whereas Uncharted had to render every single inch.
