Both of you are 100% correct.
I don't have it, and that review DID sound like he skimmed for what he was wanting to see, but at the same time not playing it. He should've never used the term mediocre & over complicated in the same sentence, because it comes off like you're being forced to play it with one hand. I also feel so much of your personal opinion was steeped into the lazy way you chose not to describe what made the game shine.
