I have had game fly for 5 years and get every new release the day after it comes out. So you must be doing it wrong, you add the games you want to you're list before they come out and you will get them.
I don't know what game you were playing. The animus database and the character Shaun bring up a lot how two faced the founding fathers were preaching freedoms and owning slaves at the same time. From a history point of view it makes way more sense for the Templars to be British and not America. I am also a huge fan. I tried to make myself like the game but it had to much wrong with it, I just wish the rights would move to a better developer sadly Bethesda was offered the rights and turned it down but I don't blame them for that it most likely would have been to similar to elder scrolls.

The problem is almost everything you just stated are rumors. We don't know almost anything on what Microsoft is planing with Xbox next.
