Most kingdom hearts sequels are actually important to the story, two of them offer and expand the series as much as the first three games did.And the series is held back because of versus, which is really their own fault.
Then TWEWY... I dont know if i still want a sequel to that game considering it was great as a standalone game with no real reason to go forward as the town wasn't destroyed in SMT fashion or was there anything left to answer, besides the higher planes.

Wow, that sure is lazy of them to just skip remaking the easiest game in the kh series to remake. Like seriously all they have to do is to add pallet swap of kh 1 enemies, add weapons for models, and recreate the outer islands of never land. The rest would be copy and paste of KH 1, Chain of memories, and 2.-_-
Honestly it is one of the best if you consider quality character development for the main characters (until sora had to lose his memory -_-)

It started when squaresoft turned into square enix.
