You fanboy retards do realize that if one company leaves the game industry then the other will fail, right? Without competition, an industry dies. Economics 101.
@9.1
I got one 2 words:
Trilogy contract.
Not coming to PS3, because legally, it can't.
"who knows for sure"
I do. Because there is a contract between Bioware and Microsoft Game Studios for the entire trilogy. That's how business contracts work. EA has absolutely NO say in it at all. If they tried to, it would be a breach of contract.
All these "blogs" need to do some research before they post these ridiculous articles. Do I wish PS3 gamers could play this game? Sure. I'm really tired of hearing both sides complain about the other. D...
There IS a contract. That's what all these pseudo-retard blog sites do not seem to research or understand before they post their garbage.
Ok, I must be allergic to idiots, because I'm sneezing. How does this crap get approved.
Ok guys, business 101 coming up.
Bioware and Microsoft signed a deal for the entire trilogy. Yes, EA owns Bioware, but EA still has no say in what platforms the trilogy can go to, because that would be a BREACH OF CONTRACT and EA would lose its license to do business in the United States, or at the very least face a massive lawsuit that would result in the game not coming to PS3 ...
It's not coming to PS3 people. If you knew a thing about business dealings, you would know that Bioware and Microsoft have a deal to keep this on Windows/Xbox. Yes, EA bought out Bioware, but that does NOT void a previously signed contract. Doing so would be illegal, and EA would lose its license to do business. Although I'm not surprised, since most of you probably aren't old enough to work or go to college, hence why you can't afford to get all 3 systems and have a great time.
...
If you haven't played a Mass Effect game, then you don't know how great they are. If you don't have a gaming PC, then this game is worth getting a 360 for. It's not like they are expensive.
....English please? I don't speak hood.
@raztad
My roommate has the game. Like I said, it's not a AAA game. It's good and it's fun, but it's not the best multiplayer game I have ever played. Plus, I'm too busy playing Mass Effect 2 too much to worry about multiplayer gaming (I'm a single player fan way more than multiplayer).
Sorry, not going to happen. Apparently you know nothing of business dealings. Me + working towards my degree in business = you not knowing what you are talking about.
Just because it's a great technical achievement does not automatically make it a great game. A lot of people fail to make that connection.
Is it fun? Of course.
Is it a AAA title that we should all run out and get? Hell no.
I'm still waiting for SOCOM 4, please and thank you.
It's not coming to ps3. Bioware and MS have an exclusivity deal. Yes, ea bought bioware, but that does not make a contract null and void, hence why dragon age went to ps3 and mass effect did not. You can't just void a contract.
Plus, just get a 360 and play it. Both systems are extremely cheap. I'm a college student and I still make enough in 5 days to be able to go buy both systems, which is exactly what I did. People that don't own both must still live with their parents.
This game is ok. Large scale battles, but doesn't bring much else to the table. Still fun to play though
I just introduced my iPhone to a mouthful of coors light. Epic
What most people fail to realize is that this mission sets up the BIGGEST plot point in the game. Once the Russian FSB discovers a CIA agent at the scene of a massacre, Russia then has grounds to declare war, which was makarovs intention. By skipping this mission, you would never understand why Russia was at war with the US.
It wasn't tasteless. Harsh and shocking, sure. But a necessary plot point nevertheless.
What you are ALL failing to realize is that even though Sony is set to have a great holiday season, Microsoft isn't just going to lay down for them. Microsoft is the king of marketing, so expect them to do SOMETHING this year.
Yes it is. I work part time making minimum wage. I'm a college student and I owe thousands to my school. I refuse to get a ps3 until it's at most $300. If they add cross game chat (VERY important to me since all my friends go to school all over the country) then I will consider shelling out $400.
Oblivion had a pretty predictable ending. One great one though was cod4. In mw2 we finally get to see Soap's face!
Huh? MaSs effect cutscenes were 2-3 minutes if even that. Most of the game was interactive storytelling, meaning your conversation choices influenced the story
After finishing MGS4 and UC2, my PS3 will finally be used for something other than Blu Rays. The apartment complex I live in at school provides my internet, but they only allow Xbox Live access because PSN opens too many ports. Haven't been on PSN in ages.
Can't wait for this game.
