Forced co-op never works in a horror game.
Ashley in RE4 was alright though, she went behind you when your were fiering, you could tell her to hide and most of the game she was hardly with you.
That's what is wrong with the review.....HE'S bored with the series.
He's got to think about not just himself but the audience that will/might buy it how would they find it?...what would they like?...will they be bored of it?

Agreed....one more flaw though. Having a partner with you all the time. Capcom focusing way to much on Co-op forcing it down your neck.
@malamdra...Got a point there, DS2 was really good but I was dissapointed they added too much action instead of focusing on the Horror aspect.

The return to the ishimura level was amazing, really brought back that atmosphere from the first game...not like DS2 with a big center with shops that have flashing lights making the place look welcoming like some of the levels.
So basicaly we have to pay for the beginging and for the end of the games.
I'll be surprised if they don't do this with resident evil 6......maybe they will make us pay for the mercenaries mode instead of unlocking it or just make us pay to unlock it on the disc
