Far Cry 4, Far Cry 5, sleeping dogs, The Division, Dishonored, Ezio collection, Assassin’s Creed Rogue, Homefront, Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Skyrim. None of these are 60 FPS on PS5. Not to mention all the titles now at 120 FPS only on Series X like Battlefield, Titanfall 2, Metro 2033/last light, Dirt 4, etc.
I bet the CIA spent a lot of time cracking the mystery behind how everyone managed to "bang your mom" during every single online game.
I think the price is what needs to be fixed most. Without Move controllers (or a camera), PSVR is upwards of $500. Kind of a tough sell to tell a consumer he should buy a PSVR or BOTH a Switch and an Xbox (or any combination of one with games, etc.). And if they continue to have stock issues over the year, they'll have Scorpio to contend with, as well.
I think they did it to provide two alternatives to Call of Duty. They want to dig into that pool. Call of Duty usually outsells Battlefield by nearly double.
Rise of Iron isn't available physically outside of the Collection, so this could very well be only digital game sales and not microtransactions.
I wonder if this has anything to do with Bethesda previously stating publicly that PlayStation will not be getting any mod support (only to reverse it some two weeks later).
That's an entire piece based on a one-sentence quote. No data, just a general, evaluative statement. Awful.
A perfectly reasonable assessment. But, because it isn't in favor Sony, downvotes? What a joke.
Whoever wrote the title is an idiot. He clearly states: "...in this list we’ll be discussing some franchises’ female character that could benefit from a spin-off, putting them in the spotlight." So, what he really means is, in addition to the original series, not INSTEAD like the title erroneously states.
You think they haven't done it already? Sony even uses profits from PlayStation to subsidize other branches.
Hence, the "Supposing that all the rumors we've heard....are true." I acknowledged that.
Supposing that all the rumors we've heard regarding specs and releases are true (a big supposition, I know), I think Sony has goofed here royally. I think it's safe to say that (once again, if true) the Scorpio would not exist without the Neo - or, at the very least, would not have been released for quite some time. In creating a mid-life upgrade, Sony - the sales leader with the goodwill of the consumers, has now opened the door to allowing a second try at it from Microsoft. Perhaps ...
Exactly my point. Well said. And like I told a few others here, the Polygon video showed a distinct lack of ability for even the average sense. Unacceptable.
I agree. The Polygon video was a hilariously sad travesty and below average ability.
Like I said, the Doom video was SOO egregiously terrible that it had no business being uploaded. The player was of clearly BELOW average ability. My girlfriend enjoys playing FPS on easy (CoD, Uncharted, etc) and even she was LOL'ing.
I thought the Polygon video was absurd, but the idea that one needs to be a skilled expert at something to comment on its viability is ridiculous. Does one need to be able to drive a car like Jeff Gordon in order to review it? How about playing a guitar like Eddie Van Halen to review its sound and playability? It can be a plus to get these expert insights, for sure, but most people don't have that kind of proficiency. Therefore, all I think is needed is average proficiency (since, by defi...
If what everyone here is saying is true (and i don't doubt it) that Metacritic invented a score for a review, people have cause to complain. As for anyone invoking "freedom of speech", the first amendment is to keep us free from GOVERNMENT making laws against our speech. It doesn't mean you can say whatever you want without fear of any repercussion. Only repercussion from the government,
@DarXyde Yes, I think it's always stupid when a developer gives you the option to go to a place on the game map but lazily kills you because he doesn't want you to be there. Some give you a timer to return to the necessary field of action, for instance.
As for your "drawn to the negativity," allow me to present an alternate (and truthful) scenario. A game is bombarded with perfect scores. You spend your hard-earned cash on said game only to be woefully dis...
I do agree that 6/10 is too low. I think that was done for dramatic effect. But, the author touches on something interesting: for some reason, the shortcomings of the game (bullet sponges, death by 10 ft drop, etc) are far more frustrating that shortcomings in some other games. Maybe it's because most of the game is so polished that the errors are more glaring? I'm not sure, but playing through the anthology was a chore, at best.
I couldn't even finish it. Unplayable.
