Yes, everything else looks pretty and interesting. My only complain is the camera, you can't even zoom in or out. The characters look kind of too far away or too smaill for a 3d game. But this was just demo I played with my Japanese account. I hope they will fix the camera issue, I guess not.
Old news.
Story about the loud drive is true, but not all Hitachi drives are loud. I went out on a limb and got 2 Elites, both has the same Hitachi drive. One is quite loud even there's no disk running in it. To my surprise, the other one isn't that loud at all. I'll keep the quiet one, the otther one go to my bro.
I'm a 360 fan, but I'm going to say it as it is. Simply the best. If they would implemented some kind of archievements like the 360, I'm sold. The graphics and environment are mind blowing.
Cool, still exclusive for the 360. Namco didn't anounce anything about this, at least not now. I wouldn't take that site too seriously.
If it's BR, there's no hope for hd dvd now, but it's not. So keep dreamming. 2 Million hd dvd players or more are coming to Walmart and the maint thing is they are promoting only hd dvd. If this isn't big thing for hd dvd, I don'tknow what. Sometimes you need to accept reality, reality's not always pretty.
Another qoute from the same poster" hi everyone....all right..the two chinese characters actually means "blue light".
sorry for the confusion...so it's blue light HD DVD.i thought it was a combo player.
Then again,we cleared things up a bit with Fuh Yuan...i can safely say that it is actually HD DVD players that are coming from them.
i hope i may be able to obtain a unit from them almost at cost...usually their manufacturers sell in bulk but typical profit...
Quote= "hi everyone...this is my first post and i am from Malaysia. Just spoken to a friend in Taiwan and he has confirmed with someone in Fuh Yuan that these are HD DVD players not BLU RAY.
According to him, these HD DVD players are supposed to be be entering production somewhere in August 2007 and the first batches should reach Walmart by October 2007.
Further...they are giving comments like the yield rates for HD DVDs are above 90% while BLU RAY's yield is around 50%. ...

Wait and see game, but I hope it's HD DVD if they anounce it at all. Could be just bogus, could be real, who knows?
My god! Tell me where I can get 1 for ten cents a pop. I wouldn't count out HD DVD yet. I can smell the "Walmart Effect" now, if they are really indeed support HD DVD. Walmart can be biger then any studio combined.
This site pointed out that it's HD DVD, not Blu-Ray

Like it or not, Walmart is the HD DVD saving grace, believe it.
With news that Walmart is about to bring their own line of cheap HD DVD players to the stores. Things are looking brighter and brighter for the HD DVD camp if the news turns out to be true.
I see this as only good news for MS.
PS3 still behind, they need price cut and games.
I hope it's free to play online. If they are going to charge monthly fee for this, it's goodbye for me.
10 bucks a month to play? no thanks.
Square Enix don't want to see Sony dominate everything like last gent, thats what they said. So it could go multi.Perhaps not this one, but other FF probably will. Buy the company Sony, so there won't be any doubt.
doesn't surprise me at all, I used to play EQ on Sony server. Maybe they will make it possible to play together with PC users.
