Actually no. They will update simultaneously. PC version gets updated around every week to two weeks. Same with warframe. Here is a slice from an article of warframe cross play on PS4.

Actually dude. It's quite possible that you can. Sony have said that cross play with PC is allowed. Warframe is currently the only game utilizing this at this time, but in the future maybe they'll also make it cross play with this game.
